I have a request. Would it be possible to consider HootersGirl for the contest? While she is not a member here, she did attend one of the dinners for the get together last December and had to deal first hand with the miscreants that populate this place for hours on end.
EDIT: The rules are. Pic deleted.

She's still not a member of the board, which is part of Gil's OP.

True; last time we had people submitting numerous non-members and even some people who were
completely unconnected with the board, which was a bit silly. I guess Rebecca is also disqualified, since she's not a member either (although most of the teeny-bopper members no doubt prefer the teengirl look anyway).

Ask her to get a temporary account! C'mon, please! She should be in it too.

I believe that nice soft-focus effect is better known by the technical term "blurry"
Besides, I think this is a good ploy to get you to post a new picture of yourself. How many times can you post that old one before even Aerius gets sick of it?

Also known as the "Bawbawa Filter."

You kinda look like avril, don't take that the wrong way?
Avril Lavigne is stupid. Foo is cute.

Bawbawa is a joke about Barbara Walter's accent. Durandal is saying that they use blurriness to soften Barbara Walters face.

Bingo. Barbara Walters is known for using the "soft focus" filter extensively in any parts of her interviews that showed her face, probably to hide the wrinkles. Hell, they probably invented the filter just for her when they realized that there had to be a better way of achieving the effect she wanted than using a trowel of Vaseline.

He's out of the loop. The loop just so happens to be square shaped.

Damn it, you all, if I had mod powers I'd crush the lot of you and move your spam to the Discussion Thread
that was made specifically for this kind of conversation. I can't even ask Zaia to be my enforcer, since she has no powers here!
Hate to break it to ya, but mods can't move posts between threads, we can only create new threads. -Beowulf

Further proof, I believe, at how easily controlled the majority of the male population is on htis board.
Edit: "manipulated" didn't sound quite right in my drinking-induced haze (for the reason, see Off topic thread - I'll get you back Zaia), so I decided controlled better established the fundamental biological shackles which many men are otherwise constrained by.
Wow, that made sense even to me.

On this

I'm just thankful of the existence of women in an otherwise boring universe.

You got it the wrong way. You're supposed to say women are s upposed to be thankful for your existence in an otherwise boring universe...
Or maybe thats something durandal would say...
Anyhow, what does this have to do with Tales of Symphonia or Star Ocean 3 again?

Well yeah, but that's obvious, and regardless I'd still need something to make
my life interesting no matter how suave and divine I am.
Anywho, I'm going to have to go with Fey for now. Namarie has really nice pics and she's got the sort of attractiveness I like, and as far as I can discern things Mayabird, Ravenwing, and Innerbrat are equally good looking to me, but Bohemianfey really knows how to take pictures of herself that do her justice. Just the sort of looks that make me slink back in my chair with a big dumb ear-to-ear smirk on my face.
Guess it's a matter of sense of composition and personal taste with these sorts of things. Teeheeheehee.

That's interesting, because I would tend to lean the other way. No offense to bohemianfey, who I'm sure is quite lovely, but her superior photography skills count to me as a demerit point relative to the others. I know that might sound weird, but I guess I'm trying to suggest that she has the ability to make her pictures look better than the others can, so it's sort of like a handicap in golf.

I understand that, and agree. Not in anyway taking away from Fey. Raw natural beauty over technique even though those techniques can be beautiful as well.

I guess I'm just big on presentability and brining out good qualities with the right photo and pose.
That and I'm not terribly particular about specific looks with women; if I didn't key on how good the photography makes them look, I'd get lost in some sort of 'they all look great in different ways' babble.
(Remembers Fey's withdrawn entry) Teeheeeheee....

Is it me, or is there some sort of filter applied to Namarie's second picture?
