self explanatory. Also, I didn't know where else to put it.

Off-topic comes to mind, given this is apparently not about in-universe stuff. And it's anything but self-explanatory. Which is better-at what? If you're asking which one we thought was more fun, that's completely subjective. If it's about something else-which had the better SFX, better music, better pacing, better funny one-liners, better dialogue in general, better costumes etc-you need to tell us.

Pretty much apples and oranges, isn't this?

oops sorry bout the confusion. I meant which is the most entertaining, and which was the most fun to watch.

You are aware that those are entirely subjective criteria, right?

Or is this another genius post from Darth Yan?

Star Wars is better wide-screen space opera adventure. Indiana Jones is better two-fisted pulpy action adventure.

A hero's strength- mental and physical- is measured against that of the villain he faces, and it's hard to beat Darth Motherfucking Vader in this category. As cool as Indiana Jones is, the adversaries he faced seem... soft in comparison.

I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark for the first time back in 2011 and I was kind of underwhelmed. It wasn't a bad movie by any means, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. I think that the idea of Indiana Jones is better than the actual films.

By contrast, the original Star Wars movies never fail to entrance me.

Yeah, I never was a big fan of the Indy movies themselves, and Raiders always underwhelmed me. I actually liked Crystal Skull quite a bit. I always liked Indiana Jones as a character more than any Star Wars character individually, but I love the Star Wars movies where the Indy movies are more meh for me.

Interesting. I always thought Raiders was the best of the trilogy (the mere fact that Crystal Skull exists doesn't mean that I need to acknowledge it).

Raiders I saw once and haven't felt any particular urge to see again since. Crystal Skull I saw three times in theaters. I had no idea it was supposed to be horrible until I heard people ranting about it on the internet much later.

Of the originals I'd say last Crusade is my favorite. Though I'm actually kind of in a weird place where I'm not sure if I've ever actually seen all of Temple of Doom and Last Crusade. I know I've seen parts of them at various times on TV, and I'm aware of the plot and all, but I don't think I've ever actually sat down and seen all of the second and third films.

So yeah, like I said, Indiana Jones as a character or concept appeals to me more than the actual movies.

In Indiana Jones, Han Solo gets more screen time. Thus, it is better than Star Wars in general.

PROVEN BY SCIENCE.
