Okay, these guys have been the subject of many many jokes, but it's my awareness that they have actually made apearences.

My query is for the purpose of costuming- as some of you may know, I'm a member of the IRL 501st Legion, and trying to help a buddy research these (ultra rare) guys.

So...

What references are there to combat medics?

Are any of these visual references?

My internets are running at almost pre-dialup speed right now, so trying to look at Wookieepedia is like :banghead:

Help me SD.net, you're my only hope...

This picture (from Star Wars Galaxies) is about all I can find. He's wearing what looks like a red pauldron, as opposed to the orange we saw in Mos Eisley.

EDIT:
Navy Medic (comics)
Army Medic (TFU PSP, PS2 and Wii versions)

They're not in Stormtrooper armor but it gives at least a little idea about what the equipment they might carry would look like.

Star Wars Empire: Darklighter

The one about the mutiny on the Rand Ecliptic.

The Empire/Rebellion series of comics was actually pretty good IIRC. It had some decent story arcs with Luke dealing with his father's legacy, and an old friend from Tattoine who'd joined the empire.

Thanks heaps for the help guys, looks like the dude might not get to do the costume he wanted (he was hoping to find a white-armoured combat medic, an actual Stormie), but that AT-ST driver looking thing is great.

FYI the 501st requires 3 visual refs from different sources to officially recognise a costume- one more and that AT-STish bloke is doable.

Thanks again for the help, you guys rock!

Another

I think this is also from the same Empire comic, though they look more like surgeons than field medics here.
