What type of Jedi would you be?

Since they've defined it to a spectacular extent in the EU, let's say you have the Midichlorians, you get recruited into the order, and are trained. What would you be?
Please, no Sith answers without a good reason.

I would have little desire to be a Jedi at any time where the Order forbad marriage/a committed relationship with a sexual partner/having a family life.
If that obstacle is removed, I would still not want to be a Jedi because its a dangerous job and I have no interest in what is largely a law enforcement/military career.
If I were a Jedi, I'd probably be a Jedi who focusses on science/research and/or diplomacy. Pure Light Side, none of this grey Jedi/their is no Light or Dark Side shit. I'd probably prefer a green-bladed light sabre, because they look so cool.

Which incarnation of the Order are we talking about? The PT Jedi recruited young, and there's really no way to know if I could make it through years of Jedi indoctrination and still end up similar to how I actually am. But if that's not a consideration, then I'd probably be something like Jolee Bindo, except not necessarily a hermit.

I'd agree with TRR, I culdn't handle the "no attachments/love/marriage" thing. I'd probably leave the Order and try and live a quiet life somewhere with my family.

people, i would do the whole training and stuff, building the lightsaber, and on the first occasion id leave the Order.hehe. you can, in fact, leave the Order if you feel like having a really good reason. no other reason is better other than i don't want their life style. then, id go around the galaxy, helping individuals out, not just "save the entire galaxy", actually help people with problems like pirate raids, slavers, bounty hunters (when they don't really deserve that bounty, otherwise id take them in myself, especially for the cash). arguably, i wouldn't be a Jedi.

Honestly, I would most likely be at least a grey Jedi, if not Dark Sider. I have had some very real anger management issues at times, and some... odd attachment issues, both family and relationship-related.
I don't believe I'd be suitable Jedi material. There's no way the Order would train me. Yoda would take one look at me and tell me "Get the fuck out, you should!"
Red sabers all the way. Nothing to do with the Sith connotation- the slight chance of 'cutting off' your opponents blade (yeah, it's like one in a million, I know) is totally worth it.
And a preference for Form III.

In that case, you probably would want to be a Jedi in the
really old order, before Yoda's time. There is no indication that I know of that they had a "no love life" rule in place, and unlike the NJO they have plenty of non-combat positions like research, teaching, medicine, handling the Jedi archives, and so forth.

I'd be the kind of Jedi who doesn't run around picking fights and getting into impossible situations, but lives mostly quietly and comfortably, and only uses the Force to clean out casinos.

I'd go with the Jedi-trained teacher role, with the aforementioned casino-cleaning thrown in to fund my school.
Seriously, being able to influence kids to sit down and pay attention would be an absolute godsend!

The one with the lightsaber that says "Bad Muther Fucker".

I'm pretty sure it was in Samuel L. Jackson's contract that only he gets the purple one.

Suddenly, I want someone to remake the diner scene from Pulp Fiction, except Star Wars.

I'd prefer the KOTOR-age Order, probably as a Sentinel as they're the ones always on the move and looking for Sith incursions, infiltrating criminal and/or Darksider enclaves and organizations, and killing them from within in need be. Probably go for a single blue bladed lightsaber, but would have no qualms at all over using blasters and explosives as the situation demands. Try for full-on light side, but I'm aggressive and quick to anger enough that I doubt I could pull it off.
Oh well. So long as the job gets done and the Republic stays standing, I could live with never becoming a titled Master.

I'd actually go for a silver blade as a Guardian. I am lacking in charisma, to put it lightly, and probably don't have the mental discipline for the sciences and philosophy as a Consular.
