Just a short question. So, the Blood Ravens were messing around with relics and artifacts of unsound nature on the planet Kronus, right? And they attacked the Guard. All of these combined made them suspect to the Inquisition, right?
So, if this is true, then why the hell did they do all this in the presence of the Grey Knights?!
Oh, and which was the canon ending of Winter Assault? And who really won Kronus?

Not having yet played through DC, all I can offer at this time is that Grey Knights are officially black, so even the Blood Ravens probably wouldn't know much about them, much less who they work for and what they do.

Well, they had the Grey Knights tagging along and fighting with them. And the Grey Knights shouted "For the Ordo Malleus!" a lot

Its a computer game, they aren't particularly good at keeping things straight, nor making sense.
GKs are in the game because they rock.
I suspect that the Blood Ravens will at least have a clue who Grey Knights are, Knowledge is power and all that.
The Dawn of War books have diverged considerably from the actual DoW games, so theres not much chance of checking up.

Remember the BR ending...even after the ending, they had the Inquisition probe them. And whatever the BR told them was enough to get them off their backs.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

I wouldn't view the storyline as particularly canonical, especially as Goto's BR books would probably contradict it (though if I had to throw one out...) so it may be that this just didn't happen.

Depends. Marines have pretty broad leeway. There are canon incidents of Marines going to war with ostensibly loyal Guard formations, simply because they were on the wrong side of a intercene dispute or just in the Marines way.Shroom Man 777 wrote:Just a short question. The artifacts thing would actually get them in more trouble, potentially. But if they're not Chaotic, it would be hard for the Inquisition to say much. Other chapters have an interest in xenos and pre-imperial artifacts.
The Grey Knights may have been called in to keep an eye on things. Goodness knows they've been used as observers to shady business before, ref: creation of the Exorcists.Shroom Man 777 wrote:So, if this is true, then why the hell did they do all this in the presence of the Grey Knights?!
Hard to say. The BL novels are divergen (and shitty) so there may not be a canon ending at all. Or a canon series of events.Shroom Man 777 wrote:Oh, and which was the canon ending of Winter Assault? And who really won Kronus?
