I must admit, i've never read any star wars books, only watched the prequel trilogy movies (episodes I to III), but I have been wondering; have the Empire and the Federation actually MET yet (like in a recent new SW book or soemthing)?

Just curious.

I first became interested in this SW vs ST thing when I downloaded a scenario about it for a Civilization II game.

Yes, that is exactly what I downloaded.

Pretty cool. 3 sides to play from: Borg, Federation, or Galactic empire. There's even a switcher program that'll edit the scenario "events" and graphics when you load the program to choose one of those three sides. Of course, playing as the Empire is awesome.

If its power-wise correct implemented, there are only 3 levels of plying this game...

Absolute Beginner/No way to loose - Galactic Empire
Hard - Borg
Impossible (we MEAN it) - Federation

Actually, in that scenario, the borg and the empire are virtually evenly matched, AFAIK.
