Final FantasyX: Dark Yojimbo

How many time do you have to beat him? I've fought him 4 times by chasing his summoner round the Cavern and I've beat all the other Dark Aeons (finaly beat the Dark Magus Sisters) and when I go to the airship, Peanance still isn't avalible. So I reset and Dark Yojimbo is still alive and well in the Cavern!
Some help please?

You have to fight him five times. It's easy to miss one of them -- the summoner runs down a dead-end corridor after the third fight and you have to fight him there before you fight him at the entrance. Otherwise, you'll have to do it all over again the next time you enter. You'll know if you did it correctly if he runs off in panic instead of bowing and walking away.

Yea, it's ok now, I found the missing time, when he hides in the room that had the Level 2 Key Shpere in. It's just that I thought I'd already finished him once and for all a while back.
Turns out it was a good thing that I've fought him probably somewhere around 28 times and saved after each one because I just made ALOT of gil by selling most of the items I got! Not that I really need it now because I've got pretty much everything I need, there are only 6 things I need to do to complete the game, well 7, but one of them is now impossible.
1.Dodge 200 lightning bolts to get LuLu's Venus Sigil.
2.Pray at the stone's on the Thunder Plains to get Kimahri's Spirit Lance.
3.Complete the Butterfly Catch game to get Kimahri's Saturn Sigil.
4.Beat Penance (Just fought him, he's pretty hard!).
5.Beat Braska's Final Aeon and my Aeons.
6.Power EVERYONE up to their max. attributes.
and 7. Get all the Al Bhed Primers (but it's impossible because I missed 1 in the Al Bhed Home).
Final Fantasy X, best game I've played to date.
