After my first game yesterday, I came to the conclusion that this Mod has some special properties for attracting morons. Playing as the Frontiersmen (good guys), my team was outnumbered, and only one of us had a headset. i don't know what his problem was, but he was constantly whining about something, and the poor mic quality made him completely incoherent except when he typed.

This wasn't so bad, but when another team-mate started spamming messages along the lines of "stfu u nigger", the whole situation started getting stupid. My other team-mates protested, and instead of simply sending a message along the lines of "STFU you racist retard", the rest of my team got out their knives and started attacking him.

While we were doing this, a skulk would periodically run into the base, we'd shoot it, and then go back to infighting. So, the aliens got most of the map, and we were buried under a wave of Fades a few minutes later....

Sounds like your typical Half-Life mod shit-server. Search around and find one with a good admin(s) who are on a lot.

Most players are morons who just run around doing....stuff.


But occasionally you find good players who know what to do to win the game. I prefer marines, and occasionally you will find people who understand the beauty that is the HMG+welder+Heavy armor combo. That's when the game's really fun.

Well those sort of morons are hardly restricted to NS so you probably just found a bad server. Don't let it spoil the mod for you though.
