The Desert and the Blade

Post by amigocabal »

I recently read the Desert and the Blade by S.M. Stirling. It is the sequel to the previous book, the Golden princess. The book starts with orlaith Mackenzie, Crown princess of Montival, and the Japanese Empress Reiko sailing on a ship to the San Francisco Bay. Their goal is to retrieve the Kusanagi-no-Tsuguri, the Grass Cutting Sword, from its hiding place in Death Valley.
