the german and austrian churches are getting annoyed because the the famous and respected TV emcee, thomas gottschalk, will broadcast himself in his next show as he goes to a brothel dressed up as santa clause and hands out presents to whores.

the churches are getting annoyed because it´s incredible immoral, esspecially for a famous tv guy, to go to a brothel, esspecially if he´s dressed up as "europe´s most popular saint".
theres a whole bunch of morality bullshit in there.

I have no problem with it. If you look at the New Testament, the people who Jesus hung out with are very interesting. Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. Fishermen were considered a low occupation. Tax collectors were traitors to Israel (as workers for Rome during the occupation) and tended to be thieves. Samaritans were social outcasts, considered heretics by the Temple. Jesus himself was considered a drunk, a glutton, and a heretic. These churchpeople need to lighten up and look at the bigger picture and the history of the faith.

Something I have to love about society...for some reason famous=moral to people.

I mean look at the headlines...filled with dirt about these famous people and the masses clamoring "how could they?!"

Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute, at least there is little evidence to suggest that in the testament - the idea that she was one originated in medieval theology.
