Jake Sisko whores his role on DS9 for his rap CD.

Lofton Adds Rap Beat To Star Trek
"Sure, the Jake Sisko character will have some lines dropped in here and there," the 26-year-old former actor said. "That won't be the only Trek influence on the CD. One beat will use the original Star Trek theme song and have that beat in a hip-hop type of mode. For me, it's a natural transformation from poetry to this. I'm a rap lyricist. Rap is a very powerful tool and either can be used correctly and incorrectly, and I hope I can get my messages out there. I want it to be enjoyable, inspirational and educational."
Yet another celebrity has been proves he will do anything to try and stay in the spotlight.

This is no worse than Clevant Derricks releasing his Sliders-themed R&B album. Of course, that's not to say its any better either, mind you.

No one will ever match Shatner's Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds for pure Trek musical bizarro .....

Way to keep the tradition alive, Cirroc!

But, he played a singer in Sliders. In some ways I think that's an interesting and somewhat relevant thing to do.

Sooooo, what kind of street cred does having once been a child actor on a Trek show get a rapper these days? :D

If he wears one of his DS9 jumpsuits backwards will anyone notice?

Can a Starfleet Emblem on a gold chain legitimately be considered "bling"? :D

Really, I hope he does well but unless it ends up being spectacular I won't ever hear since I really don't like most rap.
