Right I'm working through my ST:NF CD-ROM and i've got as far as Excalibur: Requiem.

We do find out why the first Excalibur exploded? right?

No more than a yes or no answer please (and if yes can you tell me which book so i don't go mad?)

New Frontier should be canonized and Peter David should be put in charge of making a new tv series about it. :)

Yes, kind of. We learn why, but to learn the full intricacy of it, you have to go buy one of the crossover series novels that explain the full mechanism.

Which I refused to do because I loathe the crossover BS they pull to try to rope people into buying books for their crappy ventures like Voyager.
