Ok was watching Enterprise Fight or Flight and they talk about their phase cannons each being rated at 400GJ and when they boosted the power they increased power by 10 to 4TJ. So given these figures the first Enterpsie has more powerful weapons than ENT-D
Lol I know verbal means little but still kind of funny.

It's a crappy series, but some of the Xindi arco episodes were watchable enough, and some were even decent (Zero Hour was good, with the exception of the pointless destruction of one earth research station with 33 people on it for no apparent reason)
I'll watch the season premier on friday. That should give me some kind of clue as to weather or not the new season will be decent and somtimes watchable, get better and become watchable all the time, or lose it's grip and fall back into the pit of much crappiness and stupidity.

They didn't have their phase cannons installed yet during Fight of Flight. Hell, they were still having trouble getting their torpedoes to fire properly in that episode.

The Nature of ST Writing Spawns Inconsistencies like Rabits on Viagra. If you exept alot of Fanboy Scripts, some of them Fan Wankers, some of them not, they screw up on some little Detail and BANG, crapy Continiuty.
Ent is an Entertaining, if not Great Series. Better than Voy.

As I have only seen first season and a few of second can't really say yet how good I find it. Even though on the star trek boards most bash it.

No Fight or flight was the episode where they installed the phase canons IIRC.

That was Silent Enemy. Fight or Flight was the second episode of the series, where they found the aliens that had been killed, hung upside down in their ship, and were being drained of their bodily fluids.

Basically, they were being attacked by a shielded ship that they couldn't harm with their torpedoes, so they finally got their phase cannons working (which they had apparently been carrying since they launched, although they never used or even mentioned them before that) and drove it off.
This was back when they were using plain old explosive torpedoes, rather than the antimatter ones they had in the third season.

they devised an controlled overload mechanism to boost the firepower tenfold. Only problem was that apparently, the phase cannons send too much energy back into the ship's power grid, so they just rerouted the power surge into the IDF.
