Firs they bring Brent Spiner to Ent and now they might be putting Kirk on Enterprise. Looks like they are getting real desperate to keep this ship afloat in the ratings ....

Looks to be connected with Shatners co-authors joining the writing cast.

Like that's ever stopped them before.

If ruining continuity means Kirk didn't die in "Generations", then I'm all for it.

I remember reading a report where Shatner was supposed to play Kirk's great grandfather or something.

So... would this make Shatner or B&B more desperate?

B&B. I think Shatner has enough money and I doubt he cares that much about Enterprise to try to save it like this.

He owns multiple properties and breeds some sort of expensive horse. So, yeah, he does have enough money. :)

Not to mention the big fat check he's probably getting from Priceline. On top of that, he has a new show coming out on ABC with that dude from The Practice. So he's pretty set.

Doesn't he also have a new CD coming out? Woooo. :D

But remember, he may be losing his Priceline gig to Leonard Nimoy real soon, so... 8)

I´d only watch this if it contained a Shatner vs. B & B fight.

He'll be playing an ancestor of Soong who's trying to start a new Eugenics War, or so the rumors go.

Yet another likeable character ruined by desparate B & B.

How does it ruin Soong to have his ancestor be a git? Hell, Soong was half-crazy anyway--maybe the pathological persuit of perfection runs in the family.

If they do have Kirk on ENT, there is one possible way to do it without ruining continuity (and I'm not trying to help B/B; the thought just occured to me, mind you). Have the episode set between STVI and STG, with Kirk writing his memoirs and turning to Archer's own memoirs for inspiration - just an idea, one that, should Shatner appear, is in doubt given B/B's record thus far.

With Star Trek's record, it'll probably be a time travel mishap. After ST6, the Enterprise-A hits a temporal anomaly that hurls it back in time. Kirk is trapped in the ENT era for a while until they find a way back. ;)

OR, in the middle of ST:Generations, Kirk actually exited the Nexus BEFORE Picard found him (after all, he could go anywhere, anytime, right?), and ended up in the ENT era. Then at the end of the series, he ends up stuck back in the nexus again for Picard to find him. ;)

Eh, B&B have done far worse, and Shatner is a good actor. It could turn out to be a good episode, and i reserve Judgement til i see it.

It would be cool if they would stick Archer and his crew in a TOS episode like in "Trouble and Tribble-ations." I hope that's the idea instead of old Kirk getting transported back in time. It'd be funny to see the crew amazed at the advanced technology of TOS, even though it looks antiquated.
