What's this uber-connie reference that comes up from time to time? I've asked it in ASVS, and the only response was that some guy joked that the Constellation was a space-badass.

Basically, it comes from loose interpretations of things such as "general order 24" (the assumption that it's similar to SW's Base-Delta-Zero), a something to the somethingth power in decibles sonic weapon firing at the Enterprise being calculated as having planet-destroying power but shields holding, and the Doomsday Device firing its main (only, I think) weapon at the Enterprise with its shields down and it surviving. Maybe some other stuff, too, but that's what comes to mind offhand.

I think the sonic blasts were calculated a 10X a deathstar blast, the above mentioned things...and able to cross the galaxy in hours.

Those calculations.. Oh yes.
Because sound waves should be calculated at sea level, when the point of effect is in hard vacuum.
The Cult Of Connie is a bunch of retard Trekkies trying to masturbate so hard they've chafed their dicks.

Well, in fairness I think only some of them are being completely serious.
