Name of the flute song in Inner Light

Post by GoldenFalcon »

What did Kamin call the song he composed in The Inner Light again?

Or did I just have a brain fart and he never named it?
Babylon 5: In the Beginning quote:

General Lefcourt: "My people can handle themselves. We took care of the Dilgar. We can take care of the Minbari."
Londo Mollari: "Ahh, arrogance and stupidity all in the same package. How efficient of you."

I have no idea what it is actually called, I don't think it was actualy named. It is labelled "Picard Flute Solo" in my MP3 lists.

It's a great work, the one I have is significantly expanded upon from only what we hear in the episode. I listen to it here and there. :)

That is correct, it is a very nice modification of the Skye Boat Song, which tells of the loss of a major battle in Scotland by the Scottish and their escape to the Island of Skye with their king.
"Do not worry, I have prepared something for just such an emergency."

"You're prepared for a giant monster made entirely of nulls stomping around Mainframe?!"

"That is correct!"

"How do you plan for that?"

"Uh... lucky guess?"

"Speed bonny boat like a bird on the wing,
Over the sea to Skye
Bearing the lad whose born to be King
Over the sea to Skye"

Bonny Prince Charlie had rallied the Highlanders to retake the English Throne after his father's death. He was defeated at Culloden by the British Army, but escaped capture by (some claim) dressing as a woman.

Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.
