Star Trek: The Collectors Edition UK

Post by Jon »

I'm very happy, a magazine company over here just launched

"Star Trek: The Collectors Edition"

Each week, they bring out a new magazine, which has 3 episodes of TNG attached to it, on a DVD, and every four weeks, one of the movies. The magazine is packed with behind the scenes info, character biogs etc etc, of each episode/movie it comes with.

It's going to take a long time, because once they have sent out all the issues containing TNG, they're moving onto the other series. But at £7.99 a week, I reckon it's worth it.

Will look fabulous on my huge bookshelf, all in a row, with special edition spines etc etc

Should only take about 9 years...

All Trekkies have to own this.

Nice set up...though a bit hefty in both time and money

Moved to PST because it fits over there.

Apparently so, just reading over the subscription stuff now, but on the main cover of the first edition it does say weekly. Bah, still, every 2 weeks, this is going to take longer than I thought.

How do the costs of these compare to the season sets?

You can get a whole season box set for about £75~

here you're looking at about £7.99x9 (season average of about 27, 3 episodes per disk)= £72
