Daniels (time-traveller from ENT) suit???

Post by Elheru Aran »

Well, I just watched the season finale of ENT... my roomie taped it, that's why I was watching it after... and I was wondering, just what is up with that black suit Daniels is wearing?

Reason #1 for wondering: It definitely looks like an Borg suit to me. Not so mechanical, of course, nor does it (to the eye at least) have any metal in it... but it has the same black-rubber-ish kind of look to it, and it covers his body except for his hands and head (couldn't tell if it went down over his feet).

#2: Could this suit possibly be tied into his time-travelling technology? I thought I noticed blinky lights in it...

#3: Is that suit just the standard uniform from Daniels' era? I know it's kind of a weird uniform, but like my roomie pointed out, fashions change... and perhaps it has some function (attach gloves and helmet for instant emergency suit???). But would it really be a practical uniform? (Like B&B have ever been practical...)

I'm not sure what's up with all this, but it did bother me a bit. Maybe Daniels is purposely setting Archer wrong, and the mirror universe will be created... hence the black outfit (classic bad-guy look)?
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

That outfit looks only slightly more comfortable than a clothespin on the tip of your dick.

We know nothing about it at all, other than it looking similar to those suites from the last few seasons of Earth: Final Conflict. I like to think it's some sort of super suit that will keep you warm when it's freezing, cool when it's blazing, breathing when it's airles, act as some sort of armor, and recycle your waste like a diper.

I don't know which ep it was, I missed the bit at the beginning where they show the name... but it definitely ended on a "To-Be-Continued" note, with the Xindi ships totally beating up on the Enterprise. It was the season finale here in Georgia. The Daniels suit was when he brought Archer to Enterprise-J.

Then Georgia obviously needs to be gridfired. :P

Enterprise simply took the normal mid season break.
