Scary thing is, he's only 3 months older than my Dad....

Happy B-Day Mr. Spock.

Birthday parties are highly illogical. But cake on the otherhand... :)

I think he was supposed to be fairly young during TOS, roughly the same age as the humans he was serving with. I can't remember where I came across that information, though.

IIRC, in TOS is was roughly 40-50... which is the equivalent of human in their mid-20's.

Spock, during the TV run of TOS. Of course, he'd be a fiar bit older in the movies and TNG.

Spock had to be at least in his 40s durring TOS because he served on the Enterprise with Captain Pike.

How old was Spock`s mother by the time of TOS? :?

If he was in his 40s or 50s she`d be 60 or 70 something.

And how long before the Enterprise's five-year mission did The Cage take place? And who's to say that he couldn't have been in his twenties then? He wasn't a particularily highly-ranked officer at that time, if I remember correctly.

He was an ensign, if I recall correctly.

White is idle speculation on his part.
