Did he wrote other novels ? I can't remember exactly ( traumatic memories, ya know... ), but I think it may well be the case...

Judging from Picard's uniform, I'd say sometime in the last few years. 99-02 or 03.

Edit: According to this, it was released in 2000.

It's actually a comic book. It came out in January, 2001. It's not too bad of a read. I like how the Gorn were redesigned to have a more reptilian build instead of the "man in a mask" build.

I liked it as well, especially the addition of a pistol-design phaser to the Feddie's arsenal.

That came out of no where though, I was "Pistols? Since when?" They were cool though. Good graphic novel too. I also like "Forgiveness", I think that's the name.
