Dominion Planet Killing Capabilities.

After careful watching of the last DS9 episode, I figured I'd make this.
If you don't know, In this episode The Dominion is on the verge of defeat. They regroup their fleet around Cardassia Prime. At the time that the Founder ordered this withdrawl, she ordered the Cardassian population exterminated.
I don't know how much Star Trek time passed between the extermination order and the below quote from Bashir:
Bashir: 800 Million dead.
Garak: And the casualty reports are still coming in.
In reality the elapsed time was only about 10 to 20 minutes. But there many switches to different story parts, yet each time we returned to a particular story thread, it seemed to lead on from pretty much where it left off.
Best guess, considering the scene switches, maybe an hour or so passed between the order and the Bashir quote (Which was after the Dominion surrendered and Bashir beamed down)
If I am roughly correct about the timing (Please disagree if you think otherwise), then, with Dominion troops, presumably some sort of orbital, or aerial bombardment, the Dominion can kill 800 Million people an hour.
If their population was the same as ours (6-7 Billion), then the Dominion could wipe out our planet's human population in say........10 hours? Maybe less....
Thats if we didnt resist, though that probably wouldnt make much difference.
Other useful bits:
Garak: It's the Jem'Hadar! They're leveling the city, building by building!
Weyoun: I have to inform you that, moments ago, Jem'Hadar forces reduced Lakarian City to ashes. 2 Million Men, Women and Children.....gone.
*Note, read that he said 'moments ago'. That would seem to suggest a large bomb or something. Also, I may not have that quote totally accurate.
The standard City vista for Cardassia was altered in one scene in the last ep to show the destruction. To me, the damage was very even and widespread, so I would say that hints at large scale WMD.
I know that the 'Die Is Cast' thing is cloudy at clarifying Trek universe Planetary Annhilation abilities, so maybe the above example can clear a few things up. After all, Dominion, Klingon, Federation and Romulan tech all seems fairly equal.
