I just watched this one again, and I have noticed the following:

OK, Borg Queen: In my opinion, she was the beginning of the end for the Borg. While they were once a mindless collective controlled by what appeared to be a computer driven by a single objective, the Queen came along and gave them personality. In this episode, we see the Queen once again forming her body and going to work. Here is another question: Why does the Borg Queen NEED A BODY? All she would need to be is something like a brain in a jar (you get my point). And, given this, why the hell does she talk to other drones? All she would have to do is think and then the drones would immediately act. Again, she is a major contributing factor of the "lamification" of the Borg.

Remember Tuvok's mind meld with Janeway and Seven? Mind melds link minds, right? OK, then why didn't he appear in the Unimatrix Zero?

In Unimatrix Zero itself, Bat'leths appeared everywhere when they needed to fight. Remember that? So, if you want a weapon, I am guessing it just appears for you. Why the hell would you make a freggin sword when you could make a phaser, a bomb, a Tommygun, a disrupter, etc.? Did anyone else see Kate Mulgrew's laughable performance using the Bat'leth?

I will stop here, but I am watching again and finding more. Anyone care to retort?

For the same reason any artificial intelligence requires a physical structure to exist.

All she would need to be is something like a brain in a jar (you get my point).

How is mobility, personal shielding, assimilation tubules, etc a bad thing?

And, given this, why the hell does she talk to other drones?

She did this with drones disconnected from the hive mind. Kinda hard to use the Collective to talk to drones using the collective hive mind when they are not connected to it.

Yup. And this is seen on many occasions.

Again, she is a major contributing factor of the "lamification" of the Borg.

*shrugs* Matter of personal opinion I suppose. The thing is I take the Borg for what they are as opposed to what I want them to be. They have weaknesses, they have limits, but who/what doesn't?

That would fit under catagory of Vulcan mumbo jumbo.

Another interpretation could be that the original construction of Unimatrix Zero included some Bat'leths, since the virtual world was supposed to be an escape from the Collective Hive mind. In that case, since Klingons are assimilated, it's hardly surprsing the original construction could have included some weapons for the Klingons, since their pasttimes involve killing things with their toy swords.

This merely requires them not having anticipated needing them, or being incapable of creating more advanced weapons in the virtual world within a reasonable timeframe.

Did anyone else see Kate Mulgrew's laughable performance using the Bat'leth?

I was more interested in the Borg drone ducking the Bat'leth swing, and then backhanding the Klingon. Impressive moves for clunky zombie incapable of moving in any quick fashion.

At the very least, it could have been as funny as the severed head kept in the turkey-basting pan from the movie The Brain That Wouldn't Die.

Yes, but again, isn't the entire point of the collective consciousness so that the Borg all share thoughts? Which means that the drones would, in theory, know the Queen's thoughts as soon as she thinks them. A brain in a jar, that's all she needs to be! She could be like the brain from Metroid.

In Unimatrix Zero, the Borg drones have developed modified nanoprobes that allow the drones to save Unimatrix Zero. Right? I'm not exactly sure how, I can't remember, but doesn't it seem a tad too easy? Do they somehow have a highly advanced lab in the lush tropical forest, to develop it? Janeway instantly snaps it up, saying that with her detailed experience with the Borg, she can improve it. Now I know that Janeway loves herself a tad too much, but wouldn't the best people to perform these modifications be the Borg drones themselves?

Also, we learn from Paris that the range of the Flyer's transporter is only 20 km. That's pathetic.
