Any way to borrow Trek DVDs?

Post by Darth Wong »

Does anybody in the Toronto area know of a place where Trek DVDs can be borrowed or rented? There are a lot of episodes I would love to grab a few screenshots from, but which I don't want to actually buy (particularly when I have to buy a whole season worth of overpriced DVDs just to get them).

I hear they're on NetFlix.

Is NetFlix available in Canada?

NetFlix has the DVD sets for TOS, TNG, and DS9, but the service is only available in the US and its territories. Bet you wished we'd annexed you now. :)

I also checked the web catalogues for the Toronto Public Library and the University of Toronto (the local public library and university libraries in my town carry some television DVDs, so I figured what the hell), but no joy there either.

You could always ask owners on this board to scan the photos for you.

I currently don't have any Trek DVDs, but I'm planning to buy a significant portion of Trek DVDs...I'm even considering all series and episodes.

If and when I reach a signficant point towards that goal, I'll offer sceenshots by all means.

We've got all the season boxsets for DS9 and screencap capabilities here, Lord Wong.
