1. What was that sash Worf wore across his chest and why did he wear it?
2. What happened to Guinin? The last we saw her was in Generations.

1. I think it's got the family insignia or something on it. Klingon heritage and all.

2. We saw her at the wedding scene in Nemesis. Presumably she's gone on to living somewhere else.

1. The sash is called a baldric IIRC. It had the insignia of the house of Mogh on it until Worf joined the house of Martok and replaced the insignia.

2. Don't know. Too bad, really, I kinda liked the Guinan character.

Another question: How long did the conflict between the Federation and Klingons last. The conflict was the one that predated the Dominion War.

The direct conflict didn't start until the season finale of Season 4 and ended in the season premiere of Season 5. My guess is a few weeks max.

As I recall, the another Klingon had taunted Worf for still wearing the shash. It was something about a child being expected to wear it, but not an adult Klingon.

Actualy I think that was just insulting Worf generaly for being in Starfleet and trying to live in both worlds.

When Worf joins the House of Martok, Martok makes a comment about it. I think as the eldest member of the House of Mogh, he had a right to wear it or something...

Guinnan appears in Nemesis at the wedding reception at the start.

The Sash i have no clue over. I never saw another Klingon wear such a sash and more to the point why didn't Starfleet have a dresscode regulation that would have caused it to be removed?
