She was able to change people's memories, break down the barrier between the Real World and the Wired; she completely undid Eiri Masami's meddling, effectively changing human history in the process.

Bah, Lord AKIRA the Enlighted is clearly more powerful.

Creating a new universe and traveling between them, anyone? :)

The fact that he can create it in the first place is the remarkable fact. That's what the blast at the beginning of WWIII was, after all.

Err, as I understand it, Lain altered information any way she wanted, effectively creating whatever she wanted. It wasn't just changing memories, but all forms of information. In Lain-verse, information = reality.

Perhaps, but altering an existing reality doesn't compare to creating a brand new one seperate from the original.

Perhaps... However, it's debatable that she could create a separate universe by just adding new information.

False dilemma: zero proof.

There is proof that Akira created a small seperate universe that can be made to exist inside our own at times, though.

Exactly what are you talking about when you say strength, anyway?

I mean, in physical strength, the top spot would probably go to Goku or something.

In terms of brute strength, probably Goku if you stay away from the gods and stuff, though I'm not entirely sure, I'm no authority on anime. Strongest normal human would probably go to Kenshin Himura, though. Everything on RK is supposedly within the realm of possibility for humans, though I seriously doubt that the speeds Kenshin and Soujiro are capable of are.

Then I want to fight a grim battle against the unlikely duo of the Terminator and Robocop. The last level should involve (but not be limited to) multiple robo-Hitlers and a gorillasaurus rex."--Uraniun235 on his ideal FPS game

If we are talking brute strength then nothing can compare to Lina Inverse! I mean this girl is so powerful, she named her punches after herself. LINA INVERSE SMASH!!!
