Jadzia should not have married Worf

Post by Sarevok »

I think Jadzia should have married Bashir instead of Worf. For some reasons I do not like the idea of a beutiful Trill married to a burly, muscular Klingon. So what do you think ?
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

The fact they loved each other was of no relevance?

I only wonder about why the writers changed the thought of it.

Eh...either way it didn't help matter much that Jadzia dies...Mini Dax comes along shags Worf and realizes she all along loves Bashir.

Now that was poor.

Two people fall in love, and you have a problem with it based upon physical appearances? Sounds like racism to me. If they were happy and did no harm, where's the problem?

Well it really wasn't JD's choice; I think the Curzon personality influenced that, but it's simply my opinion.

Since when do Trill have active multiple personalities? They don't stay seperate, they merge together.

Actually, we've seen Jadzia Dax without the Curzon parasite(whatever they are called again). Even without the creature, Jadzia expressed great longing and pain for the relationship with the creature. This suggests they have a very workable relationship, and decisions together are of mutual consent.

sorta sounds like it to me as well, but it could be more with the fact that Worf is not as physically appealing to the eye as Bashir for evilcat4000. Kinda like if replaced Worf with a large fat hairy man with tattoo's, some people would not like that kind of man getting a fine specimen like Terry Ferrell. But I could be wrong here......

In "Shadows and Symbols", I got the impression that internally each person's mind is there, the only decent example is when Ezri tries Raktajino and hates it. It's more than possible that Curzon's fondness of Klingons carried on.

Nah, it's not racism. He just doesn't want to see a white girl being plugged by a black man. :)

Seriously though, I didn't particularly like Jadzia's character (WAY too full of herself) and Bashir could have done much better. On a side note, why the hell is it that anytime that someone has a relationship in Star Trek there isn't any cheating, nasty break-ups or (heaven forbid) marital troubles that extend beyond whether to feed the kids replicated or grown foods. Except for a few moments with Keiko and O'brien we never got to see the darker sides of these people's relationships (which is too bad since DS9 was basically a soap opera by the end).

Bring in the Intendant from the mirror-universe and you've got heavy B&D action to boot!

Ah-hah, finally, the mirror universe revealed, a source for the pent up urges of the Trek writers...

Trills are suposed to be trained not to let the symbiant take over. Unfortunatly Ezeri didn't engage in such training, she just happened to be the only available Trill on the ship Dax was being carried on. Ezeri had no training in the mental diciplins of being a host and as such on occasions the Symbiant took over.

No, it didn't.

Hmmm, I wonder if you could say Kira's the one wearing the strap-on in the family?
