:D  :P  Tee hee... My life is spared for now. Thank you!
In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. If I wish, I can smash it all. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that raze the mounds of humanity. Out of chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God: the title suits me well.

Entertaining
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

I always liked the opening to the live action American version. It was like a heavily retarded version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch crossed with Buffy and an acid high.

Most Japanese live action does, I never figured that out, even if they use NTSC, their TV shouldn't look that bad. And you can't say they don't have the cash or tech.

IIRC, You're Under Arrest is the most expensive fictional Japanese TV show ever.

I'm considering downloading that off Xort, I was hoping it was the animé but that's on DVD here now.

Then modernize dramatically with a techno-punk, platinum-blue hairstyle and funky tiara.

And they'll DANCE . . . .

Yes, there will be much DANCING . . . .

:wtf: Ooooooookay...that was frightening.

That definitely goes on the Top Ten Things Never To Look At Again, probably at about #2 (#1 still being RayCav's fanfic).

Actaully it was a idea Sabain had that they made into a little 2 minute promo to show the japanse rights holders and they said "no way in hell".

And yes those two things were right, but saturn was in a weel-chair and it was actaully part animation. He-man style animation.

It's simply the inherent quality and production quality of Japanese studios. They don't use the same kind of bugeting or equipment most companies in North American and the like chose to operate with. I'm not entirely sure why they bother, other than it simply being cheap (more might be considered a waste, I guess). They've said so themselves that while Anime is generally A-movie quality (though they do use very small bugets as well, but they're more effienctly run), their live-action film industry has always been pretty much a B-movie level field. I don't really know more about it other than that.

Ever notice how all the godzilla films look old, even the ones made after Godzilla 1984? Godzillla vs Destroyah was done in '95, and it sill has an early '80s feel and grade of quality to it. The live-action Zeiram film was also pretty cheap.

I don't get it. What is there to make a male of any description want to watch a damn *cartoon* of Japanese girls running around in extremely stupid looking outfits acting like the vaccuous, pathetic girly-girls they all are, fighting evil queens or whatever the hell they do?!

Fuck man, I'd rather watch She-Ra. And I fucking hate She-Ra.
