1100 pixels is too damn big ein. So is 850. Use a link if it won't fit on a 800x600 display...

Sorry Beowulf. I didn't know it was gonna be that big when I saw it on that site, then I couldn't get around to fixing it. Real Life can be so annoying at times.
BTW I love the mod color Congratz on getting the modship ~E. Sn0 -+31337+-

I KNOW it's from there, the thing is they're trying to pass it off as a time machine, which is obviously just a hoax.

Looks like a Refridgerator too me... but then again that's just me.
Maybe a really big airconditioner?

The fact that the "time traveler" claimed that 3 billion people died in a nuclear exchange should have been enough to tip off anyone that it was a hoax. Sea Skimmer can correct me if I'm wrong, but the world's combined nuclear arsenal couldn't kill three billion people (and if it did, they sure wouldn't have enough inustrial infrastructure remaining to build time machines 20 years later).

WAIT! it's this guy? I heard he admitted he was a hoax on Coast to Coast before they removed it from the line up over here...

Correct, there isn't a realistic scenario in which nukes could kill three billion. (Unrealistically if everyone on earth gathered together and stood in the open in one massive six billion person mass it wouldn't be that hard to do)
Description purportedly from John.
This is a picture taken in the fall of 2035 during my training. It shows my instructor beaming a handheld laser outside the vehicle during operation. The beam is being bent by the gravitational field produced outside the vehicle by the distortion unit. The beam is visible through smoke that is coming from his cigar.
Can you say photoshop? I really hope no one been stupid enough to fall for this.
"This cult of special forces is as sensible as to form a Royal Corps of Tree Climbers and say that no soldier who does not wear its green hat with a bunch of oak leaves stuck in it should be expected to climb a tree"
— Field Marshal William Slim 1956
Admittedly, it was an entertaining hoax, if not a good one (he made mistakes that anyone with more than a passing knowledge of certain fields would spot--I'm sure science/engineering types would poke all kinds of holes in his technobabble). He stuck to character and managed to act like a guy from the future.
Even if you have no technical knowledge, though, it should have been clear from his description of the future that he was pushing a contemporary agenda (an odd combination of social conservatism and New Age anti-commercialism and pseudoscience).

Yes did you note the cord with the CB style handset. It looks like a small vehicle radio I have seen in a Hum-Vee before. The thing is hardly top secret. in the labled drawing two of the Sheilded caps are labled as singularity generators or what ever. on the outside it appears to have a power and channel set knobs.

Check that model number on the top of the paper, odds are that if he has the blue prints he didn't write them and might have taken them and renamed it.

the "Restricted File: TMIM-2005/4005" is in a different font then the font for the model number. Both schematics are definattly doctored

What I'm looking for is someone to dig up some legitemate proof of the fakery of this machine, so that I can get the pleasure of blowing apart the willfull idiocy of the guy who made that site.
