Last Sunday, I've been to a downhill competition, for the Portuguese championship. So, with no more delays, I present:

What are they doing there, anyway? They should be at home making you sandwiches after your long day!

Damnit woman! Suck it up and ride like a man! Honestly now, I personally know women who can easily ride that stuff, hell, give me a full suspension bike with 5" or more of suspension travel and I could ride that stuff myself!

Now if it were North Shore Vancouver trails I could understand, but a downhill race course? Geez.

If the trails looked like this, I'd shit my pants, but they don't. This is beginner level North Shore Vancouver riding. The advanced stuff will make you shit your pants just thinking about it.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P

 Fuck me. That second guy is doing that impossible jump with minimal protection. He's got to have a death wish. And you're right in both accounts, I'd shit my pants just thinking about doing those jumps, and the downhill course is not that hard with a proper bike and gear. Some women did do all difficult parts, but a few of them were there just for comical relief

The Portuguese stuff looks like hills I fly down every day. Occasionally with a helmet.

That Vancouver shit...ouch. Pain. Christ!

Olrik, be glad SD.net only has 8 female members, and (IIRC) only 6 of them are active.

First picture, no, hell no! I was riding up with my BF at his friend's cottage when we came across something that looked just like that, but it was kinda hidden. My BF's buddy goes down it, then my BF rides down it, and then I see this thing and skid to a screeching halt.

3rd picture, no problem, I can do that! but I don't think I can make my bike fly like that, in fact it scares me when my bike leaves the ground. Me and jumps don't get along too well.

4th picture, ummm...that doesn't look so bad from that angle, I think I can ride that.

And that Vancouver stuff, oh dear god no! It freaks me out just looking at it!

Nope, they're women. They separate the competition in subgroups, so that the women ride first and the men ride second, there's no margin for mistake. Besides, if you look closely at the pictures, they're clearly women (or, at least, the knowledge they are makes them so in my brain, those look like feminine bodies to me).
