It's either a colony world named Chau Sara, or another colony world named Mar Sara.

What I never understood was how those big sons of bitches were ever taken out by ground troops.. whatever happened to orbital bombardment?

We never see them being taken out by ground troops in the cinematics. They have to be killable in the game for balance reason.

The only stuff you'd find on the Battlecruiser is fan-made stuff, if it exists at all. All I know is that the hammerhead-like front isn't attached to the engine with a solid structure but some scaffolding.
