How much of Voyager's adventures was shown?

I'm curious. Of the 23 years in the Delta quadrant, how many years were we shown in the series?
It might be less than 15 years, since the characters throughout the show never seem to age.

Any ideas?

Are you drunk or something? Voyager was in the DQ for 7 years. Thats all.

And all those 7 years were shown.

The 'alternate timeline' mentioned 23 years, and that was supposed to be the time taken before Admiral Janeway went back in time and changed time, leading to the 7 yr time.
These timeline was the one we see in the series, right? And the one Janeway changed into is another one.

Before she changed it, it was 23 years, so... I'm not drunk.

We see the first seven years of the voyage. Thankfully the rest no longer exists to be shown.

What the fuck are you talking about? The 23 year home is a different timeline then the one we watch. We see all 7 years.

But the voyager we see wasn't an alternate timetime you dick. We see every thing up to the point where the "alternate" janeway comes back and gives them the quick way. Which means we see the 7 years Voyager took. You're not drunk, you are a fucking moron.

Hm, obviously you need to learn some manners, if you can at all. Ah, a little thing and get ready to blow up. Tsk. Tsk. Learn some tolerance, boy.

Manners are wasted on imbeciles.

Nah, I guess when you were young, when you asked questions, you get snapped back at as well.

If I'm wrong, just tell me nicely! All the flames results because of these group of people who think they're clever insulting people who just ask questions. This forum is a big mess without the moderators doing anything at all.

Calling people imbeciles... were you called that often in your life? I bet you were. Well, that's your problem... don't go around calling people imbeciles, people who just ask questions.

I'm beginning to settle down in this forum and out pop these people once more. Learn to be polite, if you can learn at all.

Anyway, Star Trek seems to deal with time warps, time travelling, etc, quite a lot of times. I enjoy time-travelling stories if they don't have any gaping holes in them... that's not many at all.

Ok... let's see:

Where did Admiral Janeway come from? If the Voyager timeline we watched was the 7yr one, how did Admiral Janeway appear?
We can say we're in both timelines.
Voyager for lost for 23 years, the Admiral went back to the seventh year, where she refused to travel through the Transwarp gate. Then, she persuaded Captain Janeway to go through it, and they were back by the seventh year.

Got lost ---> SEVENTH YEAR --> Saw aperture, refused to enter ---> 10 years after Voyager got lost for 23 years --> returns to SEVENTH year --> Returned home.

So, from there, the adventures we watch is actually seven years.

Also, remember the episode where Chakotay passed through many barriers that brought him through various periods in time? I can't remember clearly whether these time periods were real or 'altered'. Chakotay saw a this grown up girl with someone called Icheb (sp?). This should be the same timeline, since Icheb told Chakotay he had never told Neelix where those drinks were. Well, the girl was grown up, when prior to the appearance of those barriers, she was hardly 12, possibly 10. She looked too old to be 17 or 20. And they were still in deep space.
You might say she was that old (17 or 20), but remember that several years have already passed before the girl was born (3 yrs). That means she would be only 14-16 yrs old, but she clearly wasn't.

One thing I want to ask is... are those time periods real or 'alternate'? The Icheb with the girl's timeline sure wasn't.

Of course it was seven years? How hard is that to figure out? Err are you asking something different then that?

What exactly do you want moderators to do when someone gets flamed?

I'm of the opinion that preventing people from flaming others actually encourages trolls, because it allows them to use the "Style over Substance" fallacy to immediately give them an escape clause from debate.

Now, I don't doubt that there are flames that are unjustified, but I'm also not clear on exactly what you want me to do about them.

if you would read the annoucments, Insult's are allowed, and I welcome them, if you are an idiot, get ready to be flamed, allowing flame wars to develope is much more fun there having idiots like you holding people back.

actully, read a TGOD, then figure out this fourm.

See what I mean? I've asked a question in my previous post, and some people just replied to something else. (It is about why it isn't 7 years, about the girl and Icheb in the future.)

This isn't something very obvious. Just because you know something doesn't mean others would. No one knows everything, and if it seems obvious to you, so? Would it to others? And if you don't like what I'm asking, well, don't read it, and don't waste the space here for comments that are irrelevant to the question.

Your getting flamed because your talking bollocks. Have you ever thought about being a technical writter for Beavis and Butthead. The answer is ALTERNATIVE TIME LINES. This has been demonstrated in many many post-OS episodes. There are quantium realities in existance. Each decision you make creates another universe. Echeb(sp) and the girl obviously come from one where Voyager didn't get the short cut. It's ye old Infinate Diversity in Infinate Combinations It's not that hard to work out. Voyager was popcorn sci-fi. Maybe if you could get your head out of your ass you would see this and stop asking such fucking dumb questions then crying when it's explaind to you.

I, unfortunately, am not one who have watched all the Star Trek series. You, however, assumed I have. Assumptions, assumptions, assumptions.

And the girl and Icheb scene was shown BEFORE the decision to enter the gate or not was created. So, that universe should NOT have been created yet. Obvious enough for you?
