Isn't the ISUoW on the other side of the galaxy?

I retracted that; since I thought about it some more and it's not worth it over a shit-tard's e-peen waving.

Yes.

Incidentally, I was privy to the exchanges that led to the declaration of war.

Umeria awaits developments with interest...

[Shep posts]

Oh. Darnit.

No sense of humour whatsoever, I see.

Err...

What did you try to do? Care to repost it for posterity?

Shep tried to, but decided not to, declare war on the Interstellar Union of Worlds over their comically large giant quadrupedal battle walkers.

I was going to use it the next time the Prussian fleet runs into trouble...
VON MÜCKENBERGER: I can't take this anymore! Attention, fleets! Full speed ahead! I'm going to find the enemy leader and pummel him to bits!
VON MUSEL: What are you doing?! Pull back!
KIRCHEIS: He's right! Leave this to us!
VON MÜCKENBERGER: Out of my way! The leaders are going to duke this out one-on-one!
VON MUSEL: Fall back! We don't even know where he is!
VON MÜCKENBERGER: Then leave it to me! I'll find him!
VON MUSEL: I'm telling you, fall back!
KIRCHEIS: Let's calm down. The enemy's shooting at us.
MITTERMEYER/REUENTAL: Hey, guys?! Where'd everyone go?!
VON MUSEL: I can't! I'm stuck here! We're going to lose this thing!
Aaaand that's the story of what happened when the Empress tried taking personal command of the starfleet.

(Actually, the only anime I'm even passably familiar with is LoGH, and that's mostly because I started watching episodes so I could get a sense for the characters so I could steal some of them for my own purposes; I just hope I'm doing a proper job of the characterization...)

As to the hypothetical transcript... To an extent, yes. Though I think that the comparison's a little unfair to the Twin Stars.

Just setting the stage a bit before the mass drivers start a-drivin' and the missile racks star a-launchin'.

Another Zebes update posted- this is in some respects the climax, or near it.

I was hoping to stick to my daily update schedule, but in my defense this is about twice as long as the pieces I was posting in the days before Christmas, so I think I'm entitled. ;)

I loved it, Simon. Weavel and Yamada were awesome, and it was great to see how they resolved their tensions and gained respects for one another, and to see Weavel spare Yamada like that out of respect of how, despite being a total loon, Yamada still did his job as best he could (though not for Zebes, but just to satisfy his own insane tendencies :P).

And, man. Muckenburger. Man.

Yamada is like, some sorta reverse Slim Pickens, screaming YEEEEHAW while he eagerly awaits the incoming nukes so he can laugh at them!

Also, if anyone wants to do anything with the Shroomanists, go wild. Just make sure they're properly awesome.

Will the Shroomanists worship Emissary Shroom as a manifestation of the will of the universe? It would be hilarious if I'll get to use this (NSFW) image in-game.

Have a very nice day.

NO.

They will worship the cause of Awesome, believing that anything can be made possible so long as it is Awesome enough to please the insane gods for whose amusement the universe exists.

In short, they are the most genre savvy people in the setting.

Exactly. I merely figured out how to implement it. You can't fail with King Radical as a prophet.

Though I was pretty sure that Shroomanists had already been mentioned somewhere as believing that the universe had been made a few years ago for the amusement of the gods. This is just taking their beliefs one step further.

And for that matter, cybernetic dolphins are pretty awesome too.

Update posted.

I hope I got technical details of the Tianguo fleet and the techniques of moshu right. Insofar as I didn't, I ask that it be chalked up to poetic license.
