Suppossedly, the latest picture on hyperspace shows Sidious's lightsabre hilt.

It would be a damn shame if someone violated the legal clause and the pic accidetially ended up in my inbox at [email protected] Yep, a crying shame.

Well darn it anyhow, Wayne goofed up and the image ended up in my inbox despite my prayers against it. Now I better delete it and hope I don't acidently forward it to any interested parties.

Hmm... I just took a look at the saber pic. Looks like Sidious/Palpatine will have a one handed fighting style. The hilt is way too short for someone to wield it with two hands. I guess this confirms that we will see Sidious facing off against some Jedi(hopefully Mace and Yoda). Even though I would have preferred he stick to just using his Force abilities.

Heaven forbid the picture would get to [email protected] !

Let us not assume, however, that Sidious uses it. Many Jedi in TPM picked out sabres, they never used them.

Well, we had better be careful that it doesn't fall into [email protected]

Oh, and something TFN said about the latest Insider:
Here’s a few of Rick McCallum’s answers from the "Rumor shooting gallery"

Insider: ”We read on Hyperspace that you said there’s another character who’s a clone.”

McCallum: ”Uh, I did. But you can’t believe [everything you read online]. In the middle of that set I had to go out and take a telephone call, and Pablo continued, and he gets me into so much trouble”

Insider: ”Chewbacca delivers the children to safety.”

McCallum: ”Negative.”

Insider: “One of the principal characters has a near-nude scene”.

McCallum: ”No. Topless.”

Also, there’s some great pictures from the set, including one of Obi-Wan and Anakin in the lobby of a Trade Federation cruiser, a pic of Hayden in the make-up chair waiting patiently for that days transformation with the caption “-a prelude to a much more dramatic one later”, Anakin and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine discussing “something of importance”, as well as a shot of a new vehicle, a transporter for the Supreme Chancellor.

The pictures from SW Insider can be seen on the TFN forums. The only remotely clear one is the one of Anakin and Palpatine talking. You can see a new Jedi starfighter in the blurred background of one of them as well (I think it's on TFNs front-page).

If a character is topless it'll probably be something like Anakin after he gets all beat up and needs surgery.

I think your right. IIRC, one of the Hyperspace Set Diaries mentioned filming a scene where Hayden C. had no shirt on and had to wear a long blue glove so they could cg in his robo-arm.

Probably something as such. McCallum was just being sneaky. There's no way in hell Lucas would have an actual topless scene in the films, since they're all supposed to be PG family pictures.

Matthew du Plessis, the PORTAL: Entertainment Editor, told us a few days ago he was going to be interviewing Samuel L. Jackson, so we asked him to clear up some recent rumors about the actor's fate in the new movie. Here's a clip from a fantastic interview with our South African friend:
And again, George Lucas was listening, because as it turns out, Mace Windu goes out in a blaze of glory:

"Yeah it was hard work, a lot harder than before," Jackson told Tiscali's Entertainment Editor in an interview.

"You get what you ask for sometimes, and it's... ah, damn! So, I ended up in Australia, and then I guess I had to rehearse for 8 days before I actually shot it, and learned a 137-move sabre fight. It was crazy."

So who is it that does you in?

"I can't tell you that! Now, that I can't tell you!"

There are rumours floating around the 'Net that Mace gets stabbed in the back by Anakin?

"Nah, it's full frontal".

Ha! Full-frontal lobotomy?

"Yeah!"
About as concrete as it can get. Mace Windu in a 137-move lightsabre fight. I'd say Anakin kicking his arse is pretty much confirmed.

Ahem...

It has recently come to my attention that SW.com hyperspace has a picture of a Star Destroyer bridge which will be used in Ep III.

I dearly hope that the fiasco involving the accidental e-mailing of a picture of Sidious' lightsabre will not be repeated again.

On a totally unrelated note, my e-mail address is [email protected]

Sorry, but it's not from Episode 3, It's a picture of the model built for ROTJ.

some mini-spoilers today
McGregor also confirmed producer Rick McCallum's spoiler that the prequel will feature an underwater fight scene. "I've done underwater stuff before," McGregor said. "I like filming underwater, because no one's in your eye line, because you can't see. And it's very quiet and peaceful.
I asked, "What was the response on the set when you came out with the Chewbacca suit on?"

Mr. Mayhew stated that everybody seemed genuinely excited that "Chewbacca" was back. Several girls posed for photographs with him, then Sam Jackson approached him and proceeded to greet him with some wookie grunts.

He [Mayhew] said about Chewbacca, that the viewer would recognise him but he is different, as he has more muscle definition to his physique, as he is 20 or so years younger. Also he is really looking forward to filming next year.
So, two decades of working as a slave, smuggling, fighting, and escaping from the authorities will make your muscles smaller and less defined? Right...

I also hope that none of these aformentioned pictures end up at my inbox of [email protected], for that would be illegal and we wouldn't want that  .
Also counldn't GL reuse old models for ep 3?

Age has an effect on muscles, and working as a slave does not mean you will be stronger than when you were free. Part of the fun of having slaves is feeding them jack shit.

Yes, but Wookies live for over 200 years, so 20 isn't really all that much. And Chewie was out of slavery for, what, 10 years of that time?

I most certainly hope you didn't accidently forward it to [email protected]. I mix up the forward and delete button myself on occasion. It's truely a terrible habit I must break.

I just was reading the new essential guide to characters and i think it would be cool if it ended with the twins being born cutscene and the eye of palpitine leaving to belsaris wit hvader or palpy saying that the final jedi shall be emliminated

What's with the "supposedly final Star Wars film."
