Okay, I've finally seen it. Actually, I don't think I have, I think I got a goofy download. I see none of this objectionable material you're all bitching about. I didn't see the Defiant do any damage, really, and the ISD only missed a target that was moving quite quickly very close to the hull. The TLs would have hit in my movie, but its not outside the realm of possibility.

Maybe you got the wrong movie. The Defiant destroys at least 3 ISDs and dozens of TIE Interceptors.

An Invassion is when people intentionally organize with the intent of causing harm to the standard operations of another forum. None of that has been done here. Rather Black Lance was merely posting about a thread he created here and linked it incase others from SB.com were interested in posting over here, and also so that people could see to what was being referred.

And again, please refrain from the pointless titles and name calling. All it does is to further polarize either side and enforce stereotypes each side sees of the other.

The Second Movie is the one I refer to, The Preview is decent, The First Movie seems to be Mr One-Upmanship of things poping up and kill the thing that just came before and Movie two would be the complete Wank fest I'm refering to, Re-watching the Defiant/Shadow Combo ship racked up a total of roughly thirty two Tie/IN kills plus Three ISD's

First off, I intend to beat Black Lance senseless for posting this thread in the wrong fucking forum.

Secondly, my opinion on fanmovies adhering to "technical reality" is the same as it was before: nobody wants to watch a fan movie where the unstoppable bad guy actually wins. So unless one of you does it, you're not going to find any movies with the Empire stomping the UFP outside of Death of Angels 3, which was in the greater storyline a temporary victory (Icey's little cliffhanger).

If you don't want to watch a fan movie because it doesn't adhere to what you think is reality, then don't. But accusing the creator of making a "Trek wank fest" simply because he has something happening you don't like is OTT, IMHO. In the case of MEE, the Shadow-Defiant is kind of like a comic book character personified as a ship. Think of it that way and you'll begin to see things click a little better.

Finally, the "SB.com invasion" scaremongering is simply pathetic. For Christ's sake, people, we've already got plenty of SBers posting here, so if it's an invasion SB already has one hell of a fifth column, and I'd be in it, as would IDMR, LC, and others.

Oh, and, a final note: Call me an SB.com Baby and I'll flame-broil your pathetic ass.

The *Treky Wank Fest Comment was in addition to this, The Voy VS ISD fight was decent except for scalling problems(And I don't just mean the TIE/IN VS Voyager sizes are way off its that they are smaller or bigger from frame to frame when compare aginst the same object, If its intentional I'd like to know why if it was a accident I'm willing to forgive, if they don't care, fine niether will I)
You asked for comments I gave them, the brillant fokes here on Temporary leave from SB focused on my comments of it being Lopsided where latched onto and we had five pages as a result

Now fokes you can drop it and we get onto what the person acutal asked and that was what was your opionon of it, You can contiue to beat the issue of my comment or we can acutal provided some feed-back
