They had a pretty good depiction of a post apocalyptic community there,
almost falloutesque, except the people there actually fix the buildings

And it showed a decent economy after a post war exchange.....high
technology like an ICBM silo would be very rare, but common, lowtech
19th century tech would be easily available. We know how to make it,
and the machine tool shop of an auto repair company would be able to
make a lot of 19th century equipment.

(note, lightbulbs and electricity are late 19th century inventions )

And of course, a lot of scientific texts would survive, hell, even a
simple Encyclopedia Brittanica would allow you figure out stuff.
