I think what you're looking at are the lips/jowls/mouth. I don't know why he wanted to draw it all weird and sagging like that.

Actually that is exactly what the cartoon shows. both panels are the SAME women.
In one, she says "I want to serve the country!" and nothing else, showing that, while gay, she doesn't DSAY anything about it.
The second has her going "Im OUT! and Proud! RAR!" implying that its perfectly FINE for gay people to srve, as long as they NEVR tell anyone.

Which again Baffles me, as I said, I am used to Chuck making Strawmen or false claims. I would even accept this better if the underlying message was that Gay people "period" are bad in the military... But the message seems that they only "become" bad if they suddenly come out of the closet... Its baffling!!!

See, were the cartoon missing that caption at the top, it works just as well as an indictment of DADT, that the recruiter is forced to turn away the applicant for openly stating their sexuality whilst the Army is overstretched and in need of personnel (hence the recruitment poster begging desperately in the background).

this is one of those cartoons that is online with the guy chasing the bus saying "Im late for the bus!" where the bus is labeled "bus" and the man is labeled "Man".

We have a person marked "Dems" as if we couldn't guess, we then have "Taxpayers" then "Spending" then "debt". I mean the guy can't even be arsed to draw an evil looking blender or chopping mincing thing. he has what looks like a Big section of pipe, and then a pile of rocks just sort of sitting on the top. Here people, is a truly 'terrible' cartoon.

^ Actually, he probably enjoys the parts in WWII histories where the US blows up French people as well. For years, arguments against the practicality of limiting collateral damage have been shamelessly conflated with arguments against the morality of limiting collateral damage, to an extent that good-faith attempts to limit collateral damage that simply failed (i.e. Operation Rolling Thunder) are looked upon not as mistakes characterized by poor execution but as criminal and immoral, and used as evidence that it is NEVER a worthy goal to attempt to AVOID the destruction of civilians.

Naturally, the best way to assure the safety of U.S. soldiers is not to embark on useless adventurism in the first place. Failing that, it's then a good idea to avoid blowing up civilians and making their families into embittered martyrs. And yet, everyone acts like the best way to assure the safety of US soldiers is to let them kill everyone in sight using their discretion.

But why am I spending so much time on a Chuck Asay cartoon? He's a worthless shit.

Once again, trying to post Cartoons that, arn't just 'bad' or ones most of us don't agree with, but cartoons that are TRUELY "Terrible"

I nominate this one mostly because, unlike most bad cartoons, it does NOT specifically label what is going on.
How hard would it have been to put "Healthcare" or maybe "Big spending" or even "Liberal Agenda" on or near the ring.
But here we have a cartoon devoid of any sense of meaning other then showing Obama as gollum.


Here we have one, no surprise, by Ramerz that is not just tasteless but outright offensive.
I can only assume that he is making a veiled reference to the infamous "Death panels" the right loves to talk about.
But really I cannot think of any defense for this cartoon, other then directly trying to imply that not only are Democrats out to kill people, but that they are in the same boat as suicide bombers.


Here we have yet another cartoon giving overt reference to something totally untrue. There is no federal funding for abortion, there isn't.


And finally we have a cartoon, again devoid of ANY message. there are no captions, there are no subtitles, nothing is spelled out. We simply have Obama waring lipstick, appearing to be caught kissing himself.
What is the point here? What is being said? Aside from an obvious inference to Obama being a self loving person. What is the point of this?
