guess what, i found out that Enterprise NX-01 is an Akira-Class ship, i believe an akira-class ship time-travelled to the 22nd century and starfleet captured it, took out it's valuable tech and replaced it with Microsoft-Based shit.

And on that Enterprise is not canon, it's an alternate time line created by the first contact incident.

I thought the credits said something about it only being inspired by Star Trek. Therefore it isn't the same universe. But an alternate universe, ie it isn't canon.

I knew it! I am quite the prognosticator! And now for my next prediction: Q will also star on an ENT episode.

I think things would really go if the Borg Queen somehow shows up in that episode.


Now note, there's a chance, remote, that B&B might actually not screw this up and tie it real well with FC and the rest of ST.

Yes, the Queen pretty much ruined the cncept of the Borg.

Mayhaps they only introduced the Queen because Tasha Yar was unavailable for Data?

Actually, it may fit in with continuity. If it is merely a piece of the hull that was in the Arctic area, then it was probably a piece of the sphere that the E-E blew up in First Contact.

In the words of the Wong- TNG and DS9 are canon- in the first case being Roddenberry's creation, and in the later case he at least KNEW about the series. Voyager and Enterprise are not canon.

If the man wrote it, I'd hazard the guess that it MUST be canon.

They're going to have to do something about the canon policy soon, or else Trek continunity is going to become like Simpsons continunity, where Homer's car is on fire in one scene and sitting intact in the driveway in the next.

If it is some Borg drones from First Contact, then where did they get their hands on the drones, one or two floating dead in space? If they found the drones on the ground then how the hell did they get there? They would have burned up in the atmosphere.

Ah but you forget that from Voyager we know Borg exoskeletons can take at least 1 MT coupled with their shields and the piece of hull they no doubt used to surf down with all is well,

They're obviously floundering for new stories to tell: consider the fact that in two seasons, the Enterprise has already suffered at least 3 takeover attempts by aliens they encounter. You also have the episode "Carbon Creek" which screws with the continuity of "First Contact" and "Judgment" which borrows heavily from the plot of "Star Trek VI: the Undiscovered Country." Someone needs to tell B&B that recycling isn't a good thing when it comes to scripts.

No thats not true, there have been continuity errors (everyone and his dog having cloaking tech for a start) but the above example doesn't harm continuity.

I'm going to watch it still. just to see how they are going to srew up ST even more.

The Hansens had heard of the Borg (as had the Federation to a degree) before BOBW, in fact the Hansens even had a model of a cube ship before going on their mission.

Frankly this continuity ship has already sailed its just nobody noticed the error (or I missed something).

From what I understand though, there was some fudge factor in that. There was wiggle room in it as to when the Federation first knew about the Borg and what they knew at any given point.

But this takes continuty, bends it over and anally rapes it until it bleeds.
