I just really love this shot of the Enterprise, I think it's the best-looking one before they went and completely ruined the paint job in 5 and 6.

A work in progress. On my desktop primarily to remind me to keep progressing, with it.

That is way too many icons for a desktop to have.

My son David, who is a big fan of the new Iron Man movie, prevailed upon me to take some screenshots from the Iron Man Blu-Ray disc to use as
his desktop background. He switches back and forth between these three:

It's the dullest background ever, but I like it.

This is my desktop at work. Mike, your son might like this one.
This is essentially my desktop at home, but without the blur effects and on a plain black background.

Just found it and made it my desktop for my laptop and I'm about to do the same to the desktop.

Anyone who can tell me what town that is, or what fictional town was modeled after it, gets a cookie.

I had to make it smaller so I wouldn't widen this page.

My indecision is final. On the other hand, this one may be a keeper for at least a few weeks.

I'm guessing Salzburg, and Hogsmeade.

Not even the same continent.

Well, with a new monitor obviously comes a new wallpaper, plus one for the other monitor that I'm still using.
Ultramon is my best friend.
They're different resolutions (1920x1080 and 1280x1024), so it looks a little wonky as a single image.
Since no one guessed it, the previous wallpaper was of Shirakawa-gō, a village in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The village modeled after it was Hinamizawa, from Higurashi no
Naku Koro Ni. Like I said, not even the same continent.
