I suppose that if some systems are demonstrated superior to ones they have, and they can afford them, you could give licenses for OD and/or Shepistan to build them.
He also seems to be operating under the misunderstanding that these are not all MESS or OD programs/corporations they will be ordered from.

How many peacekeepers are being contributed to Chesapeake? I need to figure what Cascadia is sending.

Karmic, has your Head of State remained in Cascadia for nearly three months for this conference?

No.

I, the character, left around the end of the first week, to help organize the propaganda campaign, and to run the various ridiculous plans by my new prime minister. This took around two months. I then returned to Cascadia, because the only real influence I could wield in regards to my various schemes could be in Cascadia.

I need to think up of an appropriately mad Shroomanian scientist to go to your Metropolis.

Perhaps Stephen Shroom-King? He will continue writing his horror-physics novels in the CSR, and perhaps will work on that secret bomb project of yours too!

I guess some of my scientists will come over from to time for Sabbaticals and so forth to Commune 1. :)

Yeah, Shroomking rules ;)
Primitive life is very common and intelligent life is fairly rare. Some would say it has yet to occur on earth.

Another attempted assassination on PeZookian soil? What is this? PeZookia is a magnet for assassinations?

So, did I hear that correctly, Siege will deal with me as the legal sovereign of South Frequesque? :) Good. Expect new stuff.

Yeah, I'm willing to do that if some good faith is demonstrated. Although, man, you don't know half how hard it was to convince myself to offer that damn olive branch. I spent half a day pondering the issue on and off, and at the end I was still about to just toss in the towel :). Perhaps I get in-character too much.

You better make it worth my time! :D

PS: And thank your buddies in Byzantium, 'cause without that talk with the Exarch things probably would've gone quite differently indeed...

Yenchin, the Emperor might be interested in a visit to the Kingdom of Serenity on his way to FTO, maybe even Cascadia and Shinra. Maybe he will head out about now.

And Shroom, give me a while to work on the next post for the sunken wreck search. Need to work out a map on the route the ship took.

Shady, Karic is a...popular man PeZookian police, too :D

I have no idea why people like trying to kill VIPs in PeZookia, either...we fund our police lavishly. They have UAVs, EW drones, spybots, all sorts of stuff...

Well all that wouldn't have done anything, if diplomats decided to indulge in Battle Royale (the Japanese movie/manga).

Stas, I'm alright with your decision not to field peacekeepers, but I never got the feeling that Lonestar and Shepistan were actually demanding them for the ceasefire, the CSR was just on the list of possible peacekeeping force members due to their prominence as a non-MESS member, same with Tonkin and Cascadia.

He may not be a diplomat, but lets just say...your police force will be tested.

In a recent and shocking political development, right-wing conservatives have been found to be taking power in governments throughout the MESS recently.

Blaming the "damn Lie-burals" for the "weak" Shepistani/Old Dominion armistace, these new parties have announced they will work to not only strengthen defense ties amongst all MESS nations, but to increase the military capability of all member states so that "next time" would be different.

In a related story, after action reviews have found that the setbacks suffered by MESS forces were found to have been the result of "deviant Shroomish influences affecting the morale of our fighting men and women". As a result, a strict "don't ask, don't tell" policy has been enacted regarding practices determined to be "Shroomanian in nature".

:D

EDIT: In case anyone gets confused, it is a joke.

Only 18 Harriers in wartime? That's the average loss rate for about two-three years of normal flight ops.
