I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they had burned up.

Wonder if Ira Steven Beher, Robert Hewitt Wolfe and Michael Piller can be convinced to come back. DS9 was such a good show, and not just because of the Dominion War and the eye candy epic battles.

Behr and Piller I've heard of -- who the hell is Robert Hewitt Wolfe?

Wolfe was a writer for DS9 until the end of the 5th season, and he was until recently writing for Andromeda, though I don't know if he still is.

I think he got fired. He's working for Twilight Zone now.

He was fired from Andromeda for writing intelligent stories.

Unless they have it so she is a vulcan who miraculasly goes into a cocoon to lose her ears and become more human (

) or somehow gets her genetics fucked up by travelling at warp ten (

) then...I dunno how they could pull it off

T'Pol could be Sarek's mother.

Vulcans live for hundreds of years. Sarek should already be born by the time of Enterprise.
Of course, this will present no challenge to B&B.

Sarek was born in 2165. In
Journey to Babel he gave his age as 102.437 human years. Back calculating from TNG, this was in 2267.

Maybe the T'pol from Ent. is the same one from he Pon Far episode of TOS.

My Sarek guess was really rough; I have no idea what the timeframe is for
Enterprise. But I imagine that wouldn't stop B&B.

IIRC, that was not "T'Pol" but "T'Pau".

Let's face it; if you like TOS or TNG/DS9 even a little, you exclude ENT and VOY from the saga. Personally, if they absolutely had to do a prequel, and absolutely had to do it about the Enterprise, why not do one revolving around NCC 1701's long-rumored first tour under Robert April? In fact, I think that's what ENT is supposed to be a remake of. Remember the publicity stills from "The Cage"? Did you spot Majel Barrett done up with Vulcan eyebrows (No need for the ears, as she had really nice long dark hair)? There's the prototype for T'Pol. Ol' Waxonawaxoffa Troi herself. She was quite a hottie back in the day, as a brunette, you must agree. Pike is a direct prototype for Archer, as well. Maybe not as obviously so as Kirk, but the tendencies are definitely there.

Why not go for a series about Garth of Izar? He was apparently the "prototype" captain, according to Kirk. The show could have a tragic final episode where he goes nuts.

That would be cool. Maybe they'll throw him in as a recurring character in the later seasons of ENT. (But let's hope not -- let's hope there are
no more seasons of ENT.)

Because some people are real dumb assholes who can't see talent.
