Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
What does Jack expect Agent Walker to do then if Vossler still refuses to cooperate? Shoot Ms. Vossler or just say sorry and go home then?
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.

Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
I'm kinda asking you that. Well, not you, sorry. Glom was the one that was raising the question of whether it was a bluff or serious. And I was pointing out that the entire setup leading to it was bluff.

Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
So I was right about the mole. Janis Gold didn't make any sense because of what she'd known earlier involving Tanner.

I totally thought that was going to be Tony, but Aaron Pierce is ten times more awesome.Gaidin wrote:Also...best use ever to keep the Aaron Pierce tradition running.

Yeah, me too. Though I did read about the spoiler for Pierce, but promptly forgot about it.Peptuck wrote:I totally thought that was going to be Tony, but Aaron Pierce is ten times more awesome.Gaidin wrote:Also...best use ever to keep the Aaron Pierce tradition running.
And what exactly is Dubaku thinking? Where did he get all this time to make a girlfriend in between making preparations for the plot?

I'll just be happy that they, for once, didn't make the PerfectBadGuy(TM) and made a character that doesn't mind doing something besides his EvilPlan(TM).Pelranius wrote: And what exactly is Dubaku thinking? Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
I like the fact that Dubaku picked up a girlfriend, and cares enough about her that he wants to bring her out of the country with him. Adds a degree of humanity to a character who's already one of the more vicious and cruel bastards to grace 24 thus far.

Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
It's just that pretty much in every other season there is a villain with family members and significant others around. The Drazens, Mandy, Saunders, the Arazs, Logan and Philip. I just wish it didn't end up as a plot point every time.Gaidin wrote:I'll just be happy that they, for once, didn't make the PerfectBadGuy(TM) and made a character that doesn't mind doing something besides his EvilPlan(TM).Pelranius wrote: And what exactly is Dubaku thinking? Oh my.
They should just assign the Secret Service those red shirts the CTU guards were wearing last season, judging by next week's promo.

Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
Apparently. I'm not sure how the hell they planned on doin git before the president believed her administration, and the USSS to boot, was corrupted, but once Bill had to start shifting things around for her it became at least theoretically easier in the chaos. It looks even more coincidentally feasible now that they know who to get rid of and could be stuck in the process of phasing people back in when it happens.Chris OFarrell wrote:Uh, am I taking that to mean there is going to actually be an armed terrorist attack on the White House????!!!!
I'm not sure how they planned to have a shot at doing it before the day though(maybe just having inside people on the USSS to...you know...not be in a certain hallway at a certain time or something). It's some crazy stuff, and I'll see how entertaining it is before I consider it whack or not.

Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
I'm thinking that Tony is possibly a plant for Hodges. It seems almost as if he wants to lure Jack away.

Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
I'm not sure I can agree with that. If Tony really wanted to keep Jack away from it then he'd have let Jack continue thinking it was over until he was a mile away and unable to get there in time to make a significant difference. As it stands, they're in position to (attempt to) pre-empt it as opposed to have Jack try to get on the team to deal with the immediate fallout and fight for the authorization to go in anyway.Pelranius wrote:I'm thinking that Tony is possibly a plant for Hodges. Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
I'm just feeling that Tony will somehow have Jack digging at an false flag location while Juma does his thing. Or keep Jack out of the way so Hodges can 'erase' Juma and Dubaku.

Oh for the love of St Peter, why can't Juma bring along at least a platoon. It would make things more believable.
And what exactly does Lord Croft want from Candyman? Anthrax or something? You'd think that Mr. Not Erik Prince could also eat something other than Chinese take out.

Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
They can just come in through multiple points. Considering how badly the writers have anally violated suspension of disbelief, a little more won't hurt if we get to see more gun action. Might as well make the most out of a bad situation.Gaidin wrote:How does he get them all through the hallway within two minutes?Pelranius wrote:Oh for the love of St Peter, why can't Juma bring along at least a platoon. Re: 24 Day 7 [Spoilers]
I'd like to see what exactly Mr. Hodge's motivations are. And why take the trouble to frame Jack? It'd be just easier to kill him, and it doesn't look like the little Starkwood scheme is probably going to be wrapped up by the time the FBI connects all the dots.

Awesome way to go out in 24. And I'm glad the Juma story didn't last more than three hours. I was looking forward to Hodges. I like how Jack's doing it though. He was framed, the FBI need him to sort that out, so he's just going after the bad guy and by effect, dragging the FBI along behind him in the CT effort(he could've gone dark).
