My predictions for this decade:

A fundie couple is going to attempt to squeeze millions out of J. K. Rowling for converting their daughter to witchcraft.

Another will sue 30+ heavy metal bands for "inspiring" their son's suicide.

One negligent mother (extreme right or left - what's the difference?) will sue Hollywood for billions for turning her son into a violent criminal.

Stuff like that has already happened. Did you hear about the parents of the children killed at Columbine sued 25 video game companies for $5 billion dollars, bliaming them for the whole thing? Some of the companies being sued didn't have anything to do with the shooting!

People like bliaming others because it's easier, and it's an excuse to sue.

It makes me want to puke.

I read an article on this and was quite pissed off. For one it is giving a HORRIBLE image of teenagers, and now people are going to make assumptions and consider teenagers to be blind stupid little fucks. I mean we are that, but no where NEAR to that extent.

And something else that pissed me off is that one of the parents not only did nothing about the fact that their kid was eating at McDonalds. He actually thought it was healthy food! And of course he claimed that he never saw anything that gave info on the food. Bullshit they are posted all over the place. Not to mention you have to be a REAL dumbass to not realize that french fries covered in grease and salt are bad for you.

Hmmm...Being that this one is still alive and well, perhaps it should be moved to the Off-Topic forum with the other one. That said, I'll note that, with her being only 14, opportunities to get in shape are freaking endless! Christ, public school provides an above-average chance to lose it all. When I started putting on crap I got into a conditioning class. Two months, and I'm as thin as I was in the 8th grade. That's not even adding that a Physical Education class is usually MANDATORY in Middle Schools. Unless she willingly forgoed these classes, there is no way in HELL that she could've become such a wreck as she seems to be.

Also, it is generally considered to be impossible (By any FDA standards) to become physically or psychologically addicted to a food that has been deemed to be completely free from any addictive properties. I have a great doubt that a burger bun and meat patty contain something like that. As such, she could stop eating them without any physical or psychological withdrawl. Hell, with what her physical shape must be, I wonder how she manages to get that much food. A simple walk around the house could keep her under 350. Of course, that hinges on the off chance that she might get off her goddamned bean bag chair once in a fucking blue moon!

And the recurring thought that this damned lawsuit is going to cost me more money sooo pisses me off...

A man tries to sue the sun after he went blind staring at it for 5 hours straight. Also, he sues the government for not providing warnings, and anyone within a 5 mile radius of him at the time.

A man who got fat on fast food sues God for not giving him any willpower or comon sense.

A woman sues 10 random companies because she felt like it.

A man sues every company ever so others don't have to.
