Ok, was that statement for real? A "more extreme Kirk"? What the fuck? Is he going to bungee jump from the enterprise and shoot klingons in his sleep or some shit? And Janeway? That bitch hasn't even been born! More borg? You're joking, right? Frank, tell me you're joking with us - he did not say that, right? He couldn't! He wouldn't!

You know, if true, this is turning into some sort of horrible disaster you can't avert your gaze from.....
"Of course, what would really happen is that in Game 7, with the Red Sox winning 20-0 in the 9th inning, with two outs and two strikes on the last Cubs batter, a previously unseen meteor would strike the earth, instantly and forever wiping out all life on the planet, and forever denying the Red Sox a World Series victory..."

I can answer your questions only in the most general ways, but I will confirm that yes, the Admiral Janeway character will be making an appearance on the show, thanks to the evil Borg, along with a a younger, more extreme, James T. Kirk.
This franchise is in great shape, despite rumors on the internet to the contrary.
Rick and I are handling the leadership challenges quite well, there are no current plans for a change there.
While we have our detractors, our new fans of the show more than make up for anything negative we hear from older, less open minds.
Once again, I thank you for your enthusiasm,

:wtf: I'm assuming that the Admiral Janeway they mean will be the time traveling version that bought it in Voyager's last episode while also making it so she never comes to be.

How can there be a younger version of James Kirk? Isn't Enterprise too far removed from TOS for Kirk to be around? He was supposed to only be in his 30s in TOS IIRC.

What they don't tell you is that by "extreme" they not only mean is he X-Games extreme (just look at that Kirk-fu) but that he's "sexually extreme", ie he's gay. He's going to be treated poorly by the Klingon he's in love with and because of that he's going to go straight (and start his hatred of Klingons). After being made to hate all "men" and going straight the first "woman he runs into will be the time traveling Admiral Janeway. She's going confuse him more (is she really a she?) and end up making him hate all women so from then on he will be subconsciously motivated to bang and knock up as many females as he can.

This way Braga can do the fans a service and explain where the TOS Captain Kirk is coming from.

So what do you think? Am I ready to add my initial to the end of B&B. I could be hated the world over. :D

This confirms it. B&B aren't stupid, they just hate Star Trek fans.

Methinks Mr. Hipper is pulling our legs. No way Braga reveals that sort of information in an e-mail to a fan.

Notice how I don't say, "No way Braga actually does that." I just don't think he'd tell Frank about it.

Well, he might reveal it if he thinks those are only the minor elements of what he has planned to make Enterprise bigger and better than all Trek ever made. :D

If Janeway comes on, that will be the absolute end of the franchise. I refuse to believe that e-mail is real, because it would be the most abysmally horrid turd of a story ever conceived, and my TV may actually explode rather than play it.

C'mon guys! I had the idea for that months ago, and just had to wait for an appropriate thread!
It's just believeable enough to send you to the toilet in horror, but unrealistic enough that when you think about it for a minute....

It wasn't entirely out of vanity that I chose my custom title, you know. :D
