Beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for to a T.

A number of those liberties you took ended up being things I would've asked for, but I didn't want to write a half a page of description for.

Spot on.

Thanks alot! :D

EDIT: Gah! Too used to the other boards where I can't edit my posts...

That's REALLY fucking awesome! As in while your other works capture badasstitude, this one captures emotion.

Maaaaang.

Did this for the Bear.

The bears have become more powerful than we had ever imagined! Stephen Colbert was right to warn us about them, but now, perhaps, it is too late.

This is just ridiculously awesome, although it seems like the bear in the foreground would be carrying something heavier than an M16 or M4 as that may be.

Thati s some awesome stuff Hav; Avengers Assemble, sure, but armed bears. Win.

Hav, could you possibly modify that bear pic into a picture of a single bear? Specifically Voytek the chain smoking, beer swilling, Nazi killing bear that served in the Polish army during WWII?

Basically, a beer instead of a pistol, a ciggy in his mouth and instead of a modern and rocket launcher, mortar rounds.

If by "showered" you mean "stands in the middle of a thunderstorm that he probably conjured", then yeah.

Seriously, some more excellent stuff to be seen here. Is there a story behind Batman and his ripped cape?

Thanks... and nope, he just took it off, as he is home, in the Bat Cave. :)

Great stuff. I love your rendition of Thor.

Batman pic would really benefit from some more shading to make the perspective pop.

I get kinda bored with drawings sometimes, and usually while I'm drawing I leave stuff out that an inker could or would do.

Also... You seem like a 40k kinda guy... do you think you get get me some, or point me in the direction of some good visual reference stuff for it? Mainly, what some one means when they say "carapiece armor in stead of Astaries" (sp?)

the imperial guard models (troopers and Kasrkin) in Dawn of war wear carapace armor and do the marine scouts and by astrades armor you mean power armor?

essentially carapace armor is molded plates, while power armor is a sealed (at least if you wear the helmet  ) suit with artifial "musles" and life support and other neat "toys"

As far as visual reference goes, here's something from the horses mouth, so to speak:

Carapace armor is armor made of rigid plates, usually over all or most of the body.
Something like this
Or this
Or this
Or this

You get the picture.

Could I humbly ask for an awesome-ified Tu-95 Bear?

With tesla-coil tail-guns. And some sort of dorsal-mounted tesla-coil. Like those radars on AWACs planes, but cooler, and capable of shooting lightning at those capitalist pig-dogs! Think of sticking guns onto the Tu-95 Bear like how they stuck guns onto the C-130 and made the Spooky - but TESLAPUNK!

Like, Red Alert silliness for Russian mil-spec equipment.

In Soviet Russia, electricity conducts YOU!
