He's the leader of one of the new planets in Episode III, Utapau.

Look again.

(I'd inline it, but then... that would be naughty, now wouldn't it?)
It's possible that the rest of the droid could fit inside of those boxy jobs on the underside, but I'm not 100 percent sure. But at least it's possible. I'd still like to think that they wouldn't do something that dumb as miss that (and no snappy or smarmy replies about that: it's old.)

About the astromech droid: The head-on pic certainly looks like a full R2 wouldn't fit in. But, in that pic, the droid is colored red rather than blue like R2-D2, so it's possible that that's one of those half-droids like R4 in AOTC (indeed, one of the captions labels Obi-Wan's astromech as an R4).
But, one of the captions clearly says that Anakin uses R2-D2, and that close-up certainly looks like R2, legs and all. My hope is that Anakin has specially modified his ship to hold a full astromech, and they add the appropriate space for his ship.

What the hell are you on about? I didn't post the pic because 'officially' nonw of us have seen it? And if it was put on that would put the board in big shit. Unless you're referring to something else... to which I STILL have no idea what you're on about.

I don't know if this was covered already, but it looks like Leia and Luke would be born on a yet-unseen planet.
But we all recall how Luke said, upon arriving in Dagobah, that all of it seemed really familiar for some reason. This could imply Luke and Leia were born on Dagobah in reality, but so.....what gives?

Refering to in general, nothing specific. There's always some moron out there that would take the opertunity to say some stupid wisecrack about how incompetant ILM's designers are after a post like I did.

is it me, or does the Upgraded jedi Starfighter look like it has the same or a similer kind of maneuvering flaps as the Snowspeeders?

From what was said about the Tantive IV in the Insider, Alderaan has been confirmed in Episode III. It is possible that the twins are born on Alderaan.

A fully rendered picture of the Outer Space Battle that opens Episode III, it's from the official site's comic-con photo series. The photos are available to non-hyperspace members, so you can take a look at them all yourselves. A few EPIII tidbits here and there, such as the new clonetrooper.[/img]

The huge ship with the red tail-fin in the back must be the Separatist Flagship. And I see a daggerlike Republic ship (Venator-class destroyer?) and possibly "sharkships" (torpedo-boats) in the middle....

Venator class? Where were they mentioned? (Sorry, haven't been keeping up with Ep 3 news recently) Are they related at all to the
Mandator and
Procurator -class ships mentioned in the SW2ICS?
EDIT: Thanks, Spanky.

Go back a few pages in this thread.
EDIT: The Venator-class Star Destroyer was covered on pages 9-11.
Pretty much the only connections it has with the ships mentioned in ICS2 is that they're all KDY wedge-shaped ships, I think.

No, I think that's an Old Republic ship- just a gut feeling. It's too dagger like to be Seperatist. IMO. The ship just below it looks Seperatist to me.

Those seem to be 'flip-out' TIE panels.

If it is a Republic ship (does have a splash of red, like the destroyer under it, and Red was used by the Republic) then it looks somewhat similar to Admiral Giel´s cruiser, or one of McQuarrie´s concepts...

What purpose do they serve, though? Their role likely the same as the panels on TIE fighters, but why would the be so small?

Cost reflects performance, so they're probably just of a better, more expensive engineering than those used on TIEs, which might be larger because they're cheeper.

I heard someone complain about people making jokes about that title:
"Lucas finally admits it, Star Wars ROTS."

Doesn't bother me too much, since you have to be extra nerdy even to get the joke.

Hey, come May 19th, I'll never read the word "rots" the same way again.

It´s just a preparation for jokes that are almost certain to come:
The Bearded One admits; Star Wars is ROTting away.
rotting ---> something rots ----> Revenge of the Sith
Ultra-lame, I know, all I´m saying is get prepared for "jokers" who´ll rip on the name.
