I'm just sad that Mr. Hueg's empire of commerce doesn't include a HUEG KITTENS division.
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

Calm down, it took a while for it to get setup and required a massive power source, and was aided by an already opened hole in the universe. While the MEH could theoretically warp a system out of the universe, it would be an extreme waste of resources, and wouldn't accomplish anything that massive orbital bombardment couldn't do. Plus, the required structure take time to be built, anyone that allows it to be built over their planet is screwed anyway.Simon_Jester wrote:If that level of ability is implied to still be around, then we have one hell of a problem- balance. Anyone who can move around solar systems (even to the limited extent of making them just 'go somewhere else') is going to have corollary abilities that would break the game if they're brought into use.

I have the same starting points are the rest of you do, don't go crazy.Simon_Jester wrote:You might want to talk with Steve in private; he can clue you in on those ground rules so that we don't have endless annoying and pointless confrontations.
This is the most ridiculous thing I have read thus far. You expect someone name Chaotic Neutral not to go overboard? I am insulted.Akhlut wrote:However, like I said, I trust CN to not go crazy and start stabbing dicks and bleeding breasts at the earliest opportunity. At least, not in a manner out of proportion to the rest of us.
Why not just hollow out the interiors of said asteroids and use them as living space? Saves on fuel bills, and you can use the rock you dug out to construct still more habitats!Chaotic Neutral wrote:Pluto had many asteroids smashed into it to create a large enough mass, and gas was taken from the Gas Giants for an atmosphere. For heat, massive heaters were installed.
At that point in time, artificial gravity was in it's infancy, and babies born in space were doing...badly.Simon_Jester wrote:Why not just hollow out the interiors of said asteroids and use them as living space? Try spin gravity, it's the latest thing from newtonian motion inc..Chaotic Neutral wrote:At that point in time, artificial gravity was in it's infancy, and babies born in space were doing...badly.Simon_Jester wrote:Why not just hollow out the interiors of said asteroids and use them as living space? I will, when i get time to. End of the week at most, i'm just a little busy with university right now.Chaotic Neutral wrote:Silly me, forgetting about physics.
Pluto was terraformed. Make up your own reasons if you need to.
And Dark, is your Empire ever going to respond to the signal being sent from 28 C?

No it doesn'tMEH Wiki wrote:SD II (800$): The most powerful battleship in The MEHN, it has enough weaponry and shielding to go against any other ships in the galaxy. The Mark II is notable for having more firepower and shielding than the original, though it has fewer tractor-beams.
Verily. Amplitur Choir Vessels can take those out, not to mention even more powerful collector Monoliths.PeZook wrote:No it doesn'tMEH Wiki wrote:SD II (800$): The most powerful battleship in The MEHN, it has enough weaponry and shielding to go against any other ships in the galaxy. to be fair. He said enough weaponry and shielding to go against any other ships in the galaxy. He didn't say enough weaponry and shielding to go against any other ships in the galaxy on its own. Admittedly that makes it a mite meaningless, but the statement could be even more silly is my point.Lonestar wrote:Verily. The Leader always liked the design of the Star Destroyer as a child.PeZook wrote:The Imperium has battle barges that outmatch them as well, though the MEHs largest ships are pretty heavy (though lame ripoffs)
We'll see how good they are when 90% of the construction budget goes to building more.Darkevilme wrote:to be fair. He said enough weaponry and shielding to go against any other ships in the galaxy. He didn't say enough weaponry and shielding to go against any other ships in the galaxy on its own.
It was honestly just filler.Darkevilme wrote: Admittedly that makes it a mite meaningless, but the statement could be even more silly is my point.
Perfect!Shinn Langley Soryu wrote:The MEHN's order of battle elicits a, well, "meh" response from me.
You do realize that it takes years to construct ships, right? You know you can't just say "I'm gonna make more" and out pops a new batch of a bajillion warships?Chaotic Neutral wrote:We'll see how good they are when 90% of the construction budget goes to building more.Darkevilme wrote:to be fair.
