50% heavier than a D11? If we're talking about the D11R (the latest model of the D11, which has an operating weight of 109 tons), then that thing will be heaver than even the D575A-2

The D575A-2 isn't the heaviest model, the D575A-3 is, and its IIRC 168 tons. The two dozers would be right about the same weight, which makes perfect sense since Caterpillar is no doubt trying to steal back the market the Japanese hold for lack of competition.

No, what should fight is the Caterpillar D11 bulldozer, the largest cat produces and more then twice as heavy as the mere D9. Its enemy shall be Japan's Komatsu D575A dozer, the largest in the world. The D11 weighs 100-110 tons depending on the exact model. The D575A while much rarer weighs around 150 tons. We could also throw in full armor for all of them, plus some very large hydraulic excavators
this one for example weighs around 900 tons. But its and its similar sized comrades would outclass everyone else by somthing of an unfair margin.
Ah the
Liebherr R996 Litronic. Biggest hydraulic excavator.. period.
Someone should make a movie in which a madman steals one of those and proceeds through a city sowing destruction.

That really wouldn't work, since most of those ultra large excavators are electric and powered by giant extension cords they drag around the worksite.

Nope. It has a couple of big diesels. And a 3440 gallon tank.
Specs.

Hmm, maybe I should read this threads more often. Anyway, I have one of those in my driveway. My dad won't let me play with it though.
