While I agree that Voyager's exploits are far-fetched to say the least, I see no evidence that there are not other Ferengi or pickups in the Delta Quadrant.

That doesn't make the coincidence less extreme:

VOY still manages to stumble onto exactly the only such Ferengi-crewed shuttle ever seen in a DS9 episode as ending up in the Delta Quadrant.
That's still finding that one specific needle in a stack of hay, even if it contains other random needles. Trek scriptwrites have made a joke of themselves ... as usual.
(of course a certain desert planet not to be mentioned here has a similar problem in another universe...)

These encounters would not be by purely random chance, as the Voyager crew actively sought out wormholes, "anomolies" and stuff associated with the AQ in the hope of finding a shortcut home. Admittedly this shortens the odds only slightly in comparison to the vastness of the galaxy, unless there was a lot of on-going detective/research work being done by the crew that we don't see.

but subspace radio is only effective over 22.65ly if they don't have relays in place.
So their subspace sensors must operate under similar (although not nessesarily identical) limitations of range; and the DQ is not seeded with Federation relay buoys.

In other words they can only detect phenomena that are non-detectable to modern day science in a ~22.65ly radius cylinder as they travel through space. Multiply by the length of the trip home and then divide by the volume of the milkyway/4:
They have but three chances to find those Ferengi in there: Fat and slim, and overstreached dramatic licence.


Aside from that, the wormhole shifted out of alignment years ago, just seconds after the Ferengi arrived, so it could not be use as a guiding beacon to home the Voyager in on their location.

I used that very calc ages ago to answer some ASVS hypothetical about the number of Borg cubes or something, and you're quite correct. However in this case I considered the possibility that Voyager may have access to local intelligence/records/gossip which could guide them to anomalies and such (hence my comment about "detective/research work"). I think I'm over-analyzing now, so I'll shut up.
