TNG "Rascals" I mean where was a fucking SWAT Team on that ship, do they even have one...

"Cause and Effect" The time-loop episode, they could've gotten out of that loop anytime by getting the fuck up outta there.

"Sub-Rosa" dont need to tell you this one.

"Imaginary Friend" The one where the girl had an imaginary friend and the friend threatens the ship.

DS9:

cant think of any except the episode were the Pah'Wraith took over the body of Keiko.

Voyager:

Too many.

"Haunting of Deck 12" The Voyager equalivant of John Carpenters 1980 b-movie "The Fog".

"Macrocosm" Flying cold germs going around pulling an "Alien" on Voyager

and Species 8472 and their organic ships. They didn't think about using nuclear weapons or brute force weapons on them. They also ran when 13 ships were destroyed.

" Alice " The Voyager equalivant of "Christine"

" Warhead" who would be stupid enough to bring a bomb aboard without taking precautions.

Thats all i could think about.

"Genesis," I believe. They were actually reverting to previous evolutionary forms, with Worf being a crustasian-like proto-Klingon.

A scientifically bogus episode, but somewhat amusing. The Barclay spider monster was kind of creepy...

And I don't think Kirk was being really serious when he said the Iotians would want "a piece of our action". To me, that sounded like, "Well, we just fucked with their culture again, and before too long we're going to have to deal with them pushing out into space." No threat to the Federation, but they could be bothersome to their neighbors.

By the way, wouldn't it have been cool if some minor character from TNG, DS9, or VOY, maybe someone aggressive but not too bright like a security redshirt, turned out to be an Iotian who joined Starfleet after his home planet developed warp drive?

Have you ever seen the episode in question? It's actually a preety good epsiode, and the threat of the micro-runabout is not overdone. It shows that a micro-photon torpedo can kill a Jem'Hadar, which is fair enough.

The real threat wasn't the runabout, but the crew i8nside the runabout. O'Brian, Dax and Bashir manage to covertly give the Captain a chance to re-take command of the ship, which he manages to do with the help of the rest of the senior staff and the micro torepedos.

They know that something incident in their future is going to destroy the ship, but they don't do anything to change that outcome until the last second; some dope (usually Troi) says "changing course might be what causes the accident" or something equally stupid. You wouldn't have had any reason to change course the first time through this loop you moron!

actually "Time Squared" is a superior episode in which a readily known situation is building and you probably have no way to avoid it.
