Why the fuck did Data have to hotwire a bridge panel to get that pulse going to trigger the cloaking device on the BoP? Not only that but Riker points to it as Data is standing up out of his chair like its some common thing to dismantle the bridge for the "technobabble pulse of the week".

Uranium, whose idea was that lame-ass subplot about Picard's family dying? Is there an early draft of the script where that actually mattered to the plot, or perhaps a deleted scene? As for Berman's list of demands, did he give reasons for them, or just drop them on the writers?

Something I didn't get about the scene where Data shoves Crusher in the ocean, was why everyone got so upset. They're on the holodeck. It wasn't like she'd drown, be eaten by a shark or catch a cold. Also, he was trying to participate in the fun to the best of his abilities, and knowing Data for so long, you'd think they'd be more sensitive. He didn't rip her nose off and hold it between his knuckles or rip off her finger in an attempt to make her fart.

Hell, Data pushing Crusher over was funnier than removing the plank under Worf. What they did to Worf was just mean, while what Data did had a bit of irony to it.

What I hated about that was everyone laughs at Worf who, for all this faults, is nevertheless intensely loyal to the ship and crew - when Data does the funny thing (and as you mention, ironical as well) of pushing Crusher into the water, Geordi and Deanna look shocked (and then say "That was not funny"). That always pissed me off, because it was funny. Particularly since I hate Crusher, and wanted someone to laugh at her.  8)

IMO it would have greatly helped the movie if when Picard was in the Nexus if Q had showed up to torment him. I think that everytime I see that scene. He can't be allowed to get off the hook that easy. That or it might have been great if it was revealed that Picard actually still was in the Nexus at the end of Nemisis  . Especially if the whole think of Kirk going with him was just his fantasy.

It wouldn't have helped the plotholes, but I would have liked the end better if Kirk had been pulled back to the Nexus (since Picard would have never taken him out of it) to stay. Sort of like King Arthur going off to Avalon at the end of his story.

I did like it though when Data says "oh, shit." :)
Would you prefer the orginal version? Kirk gets shot in the back??
Chewbacca had a moon dropped on him. :D

Dude, it's just a little hazing/indoctrination. Big freaking deal.

No, what I meant was everyone laughs at him, but no-one laughs at Crusher. It was funny watching Worf fall into the water, and it was even funnier to watch Crusher get pushed off the edge as well; but not to Geordi and Deanna - they're the humourless ones.

If it's any consolation to Data I thought it was funny that he pushed Crusher into the water.
